in that circumstance logic might be thrown out the window… I could see that. he has to explain himself though, if only just to the powers that be.
I hear u. I had my mom rushed to hospital when I was at work I left immediately, but I did call my boss on my way to hospital.
Just saying im not gonna bash a guy when I don't have enough information to form an opinion abt it. Yea it doesn't look good but let's have some self restraint here I'm sure the FO will handle it the right way.
Perhaps for you, and no offense meant, but that's not professional. If he was already at the stadium and found out, sure he's upset, but really, how long would it take to say something to someone, leave a note or call? You just don't bail on your teammates and CS with no word. At a minimum, he needs to be fined and he needs to apologize to the CS and team. It might be one thing if he was a rookie, but he's been around long enough to know the proper way to do things. I doubt his mother died, but even if she did, that's no excuse for just bailing and not telling anyone. Maybe his wife left him for another woman/man and he went off the deep end. Even so, he needs to apologize and needs to be penalized. If not, other players could just bail without warning.
very weird. i hope it was just a pressing personal matter, and not mental illness or addiction related. as awful as he looked in preseason game 1, we'll probably need this clown.
Very weird situation. No offense, but even if you're going through some family issues, you should still let people know where you are. Anybody who's had an important job where others depend on you, knows this. You don't just walk out and not say anything for days, death in the family or not. That's how you get fired. In this age, picking up the phone or shooting someone a text is easy. If you let your emotions cloud your judgement that badly where you lose all situational awareness then I don't want to work with you, and neither should anybody else. Practically every job is sympathetic toward that kind of stuff, every job I've worked at people notify their boss for a death in the family. I could understand if you work for Walmart or McDonalds. He told his agent, but wouldn't tell the team? Why? The whole secrecy behind this doesn't make sense. Make they should cut him. Hopefully the truth comes out. The way this is all going down makes me think he's in the mafia or something. I dislike when players put themselves over the team as a whole. If he did it once for "personal business" who's to say he won't do it again?
Geezus.....the football gods do not want us to have a prayer at CB. Revis must have put a curse on us.
Not sure if this joke has already been made, but it looks like Dimitri and Kyle Wilson both were no-shows for Friday's game
Didn't hear Patterson's name called during the game which usually tells us he was locking his receiver down. Or he just got locked in the bathroom after the pre-game meal.
