I'd keep Ellard and fire the WRs, specifically the starters. I'd also fire the tight ends coach for being associated with Mulligan.

Tell me that was just a lame joke... C'mon....Sandusky? really?

That name has become taboo these days....for good reason...

I didn't say it, but I'm not kidding you. One of the worst trends this team has shown over the past dozen years was their willingness to force assistants from a previous regime, or assistants with some kind of political connection to the GM or owner, upon new coaching staffs. Whomever comes in to replace Schotty should have enough autonomy to choose his own staff. Or they will just be perpetuating the reasons this franchise has been an also-ran for the majority of the new millennium.

It wasn't meant in an angry way... but it's hard to convey tone on a message board :). Still, I only answer that way to posters that use an angry obnoxious tone first... I don't think I ever told a polite user to go fuck himself.

    That said

I'd love it... and other guys on this MB would too I think.

When I proposed the TGG hall of fame thing I also proposed that the more "experienced" posters should give a short presentation of the guys that end up in the final ballot... what do you think about it?

I have some ideas about that type of stuff. After the SB I may create some threads.

Ellard and Flipper Anderson were a pretty good WR duo.. remember the Giants OT playoff game where he scored and kept running right into the locker room, classic...

I know he was a good wide receiver and not much about whether he can coach or not

Hopefully he will be terminated today or tomorrow along with Son of Marty, Callahan, the TE coach and the running back coach and Hue Jackson hired as Assistant HC- Offense bringing in his guys to take over running the Jets offense

Without the Son of Marty saddle, Sanchez will suddenly emerge like Alix Smith did this season in Frisco

Well, apparently he's not coming back so this thread was a waste...

Hopefully Shotty follows him out the door.

Anybody heard when Jax is supposed to make a decision on hiring a HC?

Yea just read that. Fall guy? Peerhaps. Its no secret that despite the imporved red zone play this offense was not good over all. Hopefully this is the begining of many changes to come.
