I'm pretty sure Truth4U2 will keep his religious opinions & commentary confined to the BS forum going forward. If he doesn't, he'll get more time off should I see anything of this sort again anywhere else except the BS forum.

Well, you have to wonder if they were in pads, could this have happened. Was Jarrett overzealous? maybe since it is only TC. This is something I'm sure TB will address sooner than later.

Reactions to your troll post: 100% negative (with a ban threat to boot). And you wonder why?…..

Sucks but as long as he's back for the real games that's all that matters.

Rough start for a lot of rookie WRs. Smith, White, Parker all hurt.

Yeah God is hardcore against the Jets fans because we say mean things but he's rewarding a renowned cheating franchise with a literal handful of Super Bowl rings over the past decade and a half.

Lol at Geno being the instrument of God's wrath upon the Jets.

    Everyone knows that was Kotite.

Ppeople looking to blame this on Geno are just desperate for something to complain about right now. I'm wondering if any of them bothered to look up how the injury occurred. Geno could have placed the ball right in Smith's hands and there is still no guarantee Jarrett wouldn't have bumped him.

Do yourself and everyone else a favor, do your research before you come here blabbing.

I wouldn't blame Geno here. It's just one of those freak accidents. From what I've read Geno threw the ball, it was tipped by Marcus Williams I believe, then Devin had to adjust and went up to make a circus catch, then got shoved from behind by Jarrett and fell awkardly. I didn't see the play but this is what some of the beat writers are reporting.

Obviously you could make the case that if Geno was more accurate on that throw everything would be fine but stuff like this happens. Unfortunately for us it happens rather often with Geno where he for whatever reason puts receivers in a vulnerable position. But Geno takes big hits quite often himself. This fractured ribs thing sucks for sure but let's not put that on one player or any of the players. Those guys weren't wearing any protection, no pads whatsoever, so while I love Devin's effort he should not have attempted that circus catch. It's way too easy to break your arm or shoulder or ribs when you drop like a fly from 7 or 8 feet. The bad thing with these rib injuries are that they almost completely take you out of any physical activity. It's hard enough to just breathe, let alone workout or run. If he broke his arm or nose or something he probably would have been out for the same amount of time but at least he'd be able to get his cardio up, stay in shape, workout. But at least he can study our offense now 24/7 I guess. I'm not too upset that we lose a receiver for a few weeks or a month or two because we have a good option in Kerley. But Devin was our deep threat, so there goes our only bigplay weapon in the passing game. It's a big part of our offense, hopefully he's ready to go in week 1.

Let's make that "all of camp"

@AlbertBreer: Jets WR Devin Smith looking at a 4-6 week timetable to return from his broken ribs. Status for opener on 9/13 is iffy at this point.

So him saying God has it out for the Jet fan base is unacceptable in this thread but this vitriolic, mega-flame response is allowed??

If theres going to be moderation in a forum at least keep it consistent.

As for the actual topic, the only solace is that it happened on the heels of Shelly's arrest. So I was already dejected about camp.

Again, how does this make you any better than the person you are attacking? I'll never understand the reason to respond to someone like this or why it's any more permissible.
