Truuu. Forgot about that either way we have three more seasons to see if he can reach his potential on a dirt cheap contract. Over 2 1/2 if he starts season on Pup which is likely but I'd rather see him come back later than too early. Edit: btw you mad I called you out on looking like an idiot saying Steelers playmakers aren't impressive without Big Ben? Can't reply to that but snipe my next mistake. Stick to wondering the right age to take a QB and the 53 man bullshit game.
well at least Smith wont have enough time to establish himself as a premier WR demanding Billions of Dollars on his 2nd contract. We should get his 2nd 4 yrs pretty cheap.
I don't check every post on this forum or pay attention to who's posting what. As for the Pitt thing, look how well the Pitt offense functions when Ben is hurt. That group is really good but I don't think it's tops in the league especially when Bryant is out. Also I don't get personal with posters who disagree with me or correct my mistakes.
If he doesn't put on some weight, he'll never become a star as he's too light to go against the bigger corners and safeties in the league. If he does put on the weight, will his body type be able to support it over 16games? Will he still be a burner and honestly, we didn't see the burner when he was on the field either. Seemed to me corners and safeties were able to stay with the kid. Will he EVER get off the PUP/DL long enough to evaluate him? 2 years and counting...
Ted Ginn Jr. was another OSU alumni who managed to both stay on the field AND play. Not sure why our luck with #2's sucks so badly.
I've already written him off for 2016. What's the over/under on him playing this season? I remember Santana Moss had hammy issues early in his career but somehow came back to be productive. Why is it that whenever I think if Devon Smith, Alex VanDyke comes to mind?
Yup, you can pretty much kiss 2016 goodbye. He is missing all of camp again, and the first 6 games of the season. If anyone thinks we are getting anything out of him in 2016, forget it. Not happening.
