    All a walk would have done there is set up a force at any base but I would agree it may not have been as much his pitch as he thought :)

    It's not about walking. It's making a pitcher like Seo work, he gets behind, and will likely make a mistake that a hitter like Cano can capitalize on. And if he gets ahead, Cano is a good enough hitter that he should be able to capitalize on a pitch, regardless.

    Besides, if he does walk, the bases are loaded for Jeter, which isn't a bad thing.
