Deshaun Watson Traded to Browns

Josh Allen should have been the guy and without the need to trade up.

 

The Browns did not give up that much.Watson won with that contract but Houston got fleeced.

 

Whilst I'm not a fan of Baker, the browns mis managed this and doesn't look good.

Bakers 5th year is guaranteed at 18 mill. I kinda hope that his agent tells all teams not to trade for him as he wants to pick a place right for him. Sit there and earn his 18 mill this year, maybe sit out injured with a bad shoulder etc.

This is ridiculous, Baker isn't a top 10 QB, but he's better than what a bunch of teams have.

The Browns must have known this was going to happen. Nobody gives a guaranteed contract worth that much money if there's ANY chance they'd be paying a Jailbird. Not even MacCagnan would have been that stupid.

Similar to being happy the Jets did not end up with Hill, I am even more thrilled to have Zach Wilson instead of Deshaun Watson. His press conference today was even more cringe than Hill's. We will never know who is telling the truth between him and the women who accused him, but I found it really off-putting that he claimed complete innocence and said he has never disrespected women. Said he did not need help or therapy. Would be another terrible look for the Jets. Glad they were never involved with Watson. It would have been a circus with the New York media, even if he was innocent and played great. More likely it would have been a nightmare though.

 

Watson and the Browns better hope there isn't a pass rusher on another team watching this press conference who has a loved one who was sexually assaulted.

A funny place the NFL, it turns its nose up at some and then closes its eyes and looks the other way on others.

 

But at least they will have filled his bank account, he is now entering the twilight zone for back up QB's, picking up 2m here and there for the next 10 years, which let's face it, we would all be happy with that scenario lol
