I was iffy on us getting Jackson before all of this information started appearing about him in the news. I'm not all for going out and getting this guy because seriously at this point it just feels like Philly is trying to slander this guy now, at least short term. I had voted unsure since I thought he might be a good addition to the offense but didn't think they should use the pick on him. Keep in mind this poll started long before the news of gang affiliation came out and my vote now would be no to trading a 3rd rd pick. I am sure many would change their vote since that news came out. If there was a new poll without the 3rd rd pick I would probably still vote unsure, not that I put all that much into the gang affiliation news, I'm just not sure a team as young as the current Jets team needs the spotlight from another big news story. I would love his talent on the team for sure.

Good for Idzik....WAITING for DeSean to get cut when 50% of TGG was calling for Idzik's head for not shipping out a 3rd round pick and signing $30M guaranteed contract hour 1. Now, the waiting game continues. No need to do battle with yourself over a contract. Wait until 'the other 6 teams' step up to the plate and make their offer known, if those other 6 teams even exist. Signing DeSean is a no brainier, and Idzik knows that. But the devil is in the details (details of the contract). It's imperative Idzik avoids the contract nightmare that currently belongs to Belicheck/Hernandez.
