If they sign him for a lot of guaranteed money I'd say they are being stupid. If they give him a contract like they did Haynesworth or Moss I'd say it's worth a try.

 

I'd be shocked if Jackson becomes a Jet now. Their best chance was via trade. Some team will pounce on him and offer him a boatload of cash.

He would be a perfect WCO deep threat we need. Plus he has chemistry with Vick and knows MM system.

Yea they all essentially say the same thing - just different sources pushing it out in their own way. Crazy the stir a media report can create (as us JET fans are well aware of)

 

Man he is not going to sign for something like that. There are stupid teams I'm this league. Hell the Jets tried a prove it deal with DRC like you are trying to suggest and he signed for guaranteed dollars with NYG. Jackson is a game breaker, DRC is a jag.

 

I consider 4 different publications confirming a source as 4 reports since they are all willing to stand behind that source, no matter how ridiculous it may be but journalistic integrity isn't even close to what it was even 30 years ago so you're probably right

There's a lot that is concerning about Jackson.. Personally, I'd rather see the Jets use the 18th pick on a receiver

No I'm saying let it play out. But it does seem funny to me that all this has come out right after they released him. Plus they sign him to a big contract just a year after the police talked to him about a murder. And the police told Philly they was going to talk with him or they did. Can't remember which happen first.

 

Raiders or the Niners are gonna snatch him...it allows him to be closer to Los Angeles where he can gang bang all day...

 

It's just the one report form nj.com. It's fishy, to say the least, that this "gang" story comes out the day he is released. By all accounts Jackson is very active in the Philadelphia community and an anti-bullying spokesman. Plus the guy has no criminal history at all......just seems like something is off.
