Some serious troubling reports arising about Jackson, I'm not sure I want this guy on our team if they are true.
Here come the Patriots to sign him! A true redemption tale, after being unable to rehabilitate Aaron Hernandez.
Released in connections to gang involvment which has connections to murders according to Francesa. Pats will sign him.
I won't be surprised if the Raiders overpay. If D-Jax wants to stay away from Cali, he'll sign here on the Jets terms.
Sign him...we can have a Jets Crips day and Jets Bloods gang day at MetLife and just move on..."can't we all just get along".....
Hopefully Woody will not force Idzik to overpay and sign Jackson as he did to Tanny forcing him to trade for Tebow. Jackson while a quick short term fix is bad for the long term. We will have to overpay for a guy with questionable character concerns. I would much rather invest in 2 WRs in the draft at reasonable salaries. If we were in win now mode then Jackson may make sense. But we are in rebuilding mode with the idea and hope that if we are patient and build through the draft not FA we can have a team that is a contender every year. If we sign Jackson it is more evidence that Woody is a meddlesome some owner and one of the worst owners in football. Listen to what Woody said and its quite obvious he is a pretty stupid fellow who has a very inflated opinion of himself. Just another guy who because he was born on third base thinks he hit a triple,
Desean,Decker,Kerley,??,Ivory,Geno would yes, be my spank material. Btw, if your user is based off Always Sunny then you're awesome.
Dafuq!!! Philly just lets this dude go. I can't believe the offers they were getting were worst than just kicking this guy out and getting nothing for him. WTF kind of turmoil was he causing where they wanted to cut bait with this guy like this. He's minature in size, but has incredible speed and is a playmaker. How do they let him go for nothing? I suspect something juicy will be the cause of this.
Why would they just release him though? One of the best WR's in the league and you dump him just like that? And in his prime?
It really depends how tightly connected Desean is tied with these people. It also brings up if something new happened because from the NJ.com report, the majority of the incidents happened a couple years ago and the Eagles gave Desean more money last year or the year before right?
This changes everything. If we can get him into a contract that protects the team if his off field and/or locker room stuff becomes an issue I am all bringing him in.
I wouldn't say Cooper has character issues he made a drunken mistake that happened to be broadcasted nationally. No excuse I know, but that's his only mishap and he's apologized and moved on. Until I see facts of D-Jax being a trouble maker I'm all on board for signing him to a fresh start.
Not in the sense of talent or character but in the sense of Woody possibly jumping in and usurping the GMs job and role and forcing him to obtain a player he does not want.
