Every Chipotle I've been to was kinda run like shit. The customer service sucks. Anywaay, sometimes you need to bring in a fresh perspective to get things rolling. D Jackson is a playmaker...plain & simple. Last time I looked, we kinda need one of those.
hmm..too bad we cut him, maybe we could have traded Sanchez for Jackson straight up..lookls like that's where he will land. I know, I know. And the very fact they would sign Sanchez tells me they will definitely cut Jackson.
I could..they cut Vick and signed (or will sign) Sanchez..they seem to be in an image rebuild mode. With all the rumors already swirling around Jackson I see no way they don't cut him unless somebody is stupid enough to actually trade for him.
I think the possible Sanchez signing has more to do with the only vet QB's available are Sanchez, Freeman and Kolb. I don't think it is an image thing but just imo.
The media is making a big deal about what Woody said saying the Jets are interested in DJ. He was foolish to say anything because it's against league rules. But just look at what he did say: the Jets aren't interested in a trade (and thus taking on his contract), and they're looking for a guy who can fit in with the team if he's affordable. So to me under those conditions why not. It just seems to me somewhat like a Tone situation. He even wears the same number as Holmes.
Its sounding like the Eagles are leaning towards keeping Jackson. Not to say a trade won't happen it just seems like the Eagles were just bullshitting around like a couple of *******
Sounds like just don't want to make a trade. They will either keep him or cut. Or they could still make a trade but it does alot of damage if they close the talks and try to start them again
Where is this coming from? Did I miss something? Everything I have read says they will trade or cut him and keeping him is not even an option.
Doubt they keep him still. Could be negotiating posturing. Multiple sources had said there is no way they keep him. Usually that isn't made up. They're probably trying to get a 3rd rounder for him, while the offer is a 4 and a 5 from what I've seen reported. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
LOL at "twitter rumblings" somehow becoming a credible source. "I heard it on twitter" is not a source. Link it or don't post it.
started from a credible source in ian rappoport and woody johnson i haven't seen anything about them keeping him
No. It started in real life. Twitter is just the medium. Cite the person who said it, not twitter in general. I didn't see any of your "new twitter rumblings within the past hour." Who are you referring to? None of the beat writers I follow mentioned anything about it, and you know they would if it were confirmed.
What "rumblings"? The most recent things ive heard on twitter (today, probably 6-12 hours ago) were that the Eagles made their minds up that Jackson will NOT be on the team over a month ago.
his only bonus due is a $250k workout bonus each year, which is nothnig. he's already cashed in all of his signing bonus and guaranteed money. for 2014 it is just a matter of that pesky $10.5 mil he'd due in salary.
This is what worries me. Winning football is not all about great skills, it's about building a team. Holmes had very good skills but didn't fit well on the team. He didn't fit because he was very self-centered and very conscious of his own stuff and not thinking about the team at all when that became a conflict. The Steelers figured this out and cut bait with him. The Jets went right on the hook at that point and they got exactly what you would expect right up to the point that Holmes got hurt. Then they got completely screwed. When he was healthy his contributions on the field and his detriments in the clubhouse matched off almost perfectly. As soon as he got hurt he became a liability because even on his best behavior he was only an average teammate.
