That has nothing to do with a WR. That has to do with guys like Revis and Talib who are getting huge contracts. He is not basing his amount on receivers.

 

Do the eagles have a date where D Jax is owed more money ? Is it worth sitting tight and hoping he gets cut,,,?

 

No, I'm sure they want to do it before the draft. Still, that's a long way out. I imagine he will be traded or released by the end of the owners meetings since they will likely know whether or not a trade is possible by then.

Get Desean Jackson, draft Ebron in 1st, Tre Mason in 2nd. If Geno cant work THAT, move on in 2015

 

I like Mason but I dont want to use a 2nd on a RB. Ivory, Powell, Goodson is better than average and we have bigger holes at the Guard position and in the secondary.

 

We need all the help we can get at the skill positions. Id take a RB that's being compared to Ray Rice in the 2nd in a heart beat. Plus with all his troubles/injuries Goodson can GTFOH

 

With Winters and Colon you still think we go Guard in the second? Need help in secondary, but with Milliner being our best CB id rather see someone with a little experience/guidence out there

Wow I wonder if idziks heart exploded reading woodsys comments. The idea of spending any money is foreign to this guy. How dare woody say such things. It almost rules out idziks pan if offering Jackson a 1 year deal at the vet minimum. What's he gonna do now? Nothing I'm sure. Lol

This could get interesting with Idzik. Maybe it wasn't Tanny after all. Maybe Woody is pushing his GM's to spend as much as possible to bring in all these players. Well, it's still somewhat Tanny's fault because he did whatever Woody told him but I don't think Idzik will deal with that.

That's what I thought as well. Maybe we are too far in negotiations with Eagles that he felt he could speak his mind freely? Not sure. I hope it doesn't cause any issues.
