And why is it that you think this? What is it that makes him a better receiver right now? Or ever for that matter lol

Well, you are wrong. You need to put down the green and white koolaid and check the numbers and the video tape again.

Mike Tannenbaum, Woody Johnson and Rex Ryan all standing on one of the practice fields together. Tannenbaum w/cell phone to his ear.. #jets

would be cool, if he was trading him, but doubtful.

If we sign Mason, that leaves us with 34 year old Plax, who needs to prove himself, and 37 year old Mason. Just scares me to have 2 WRs age 34 and 37.

Well the beauty is we will get to see. Just remember i said it. I just think he is a younger more athletic player. Time after time i have seen him make great difficult catches and despite what someone on here posted earlier i think he is a good blocking wideout. He's also a sure handed punt returner.

I wonder if Jeremy Kerley will be giving #85 up?

Sad to see him go. One of my favorite jets. Hope he gets a ring some day and I think there will be another team out there getting a solid 2 or 3 receiver for mighty cheap.

Derrick Mason was never on the Jets, and it looks like he's incoming.

Picking up a better player, and a true fucking leader. Jerricho set a great example, and of course it's sad to see him end his career w/ the Jets...but Mason is a badass. Even at 37.

well, i don't really consider plax to be 34 after seeing that sports science video.

plus, 2 years of not taking hits is actually beneficial from a longevity standpoint.

but yeah, that is a pretty old receiving core. one of the great things last year was our youth at WR...i think average age was 27 or 28

From reading Jenny Vrentas latest article it sounds like Cotchery was not getting along with one of the coaches. It doesn't sound like he was happy to lose his starting job to Holmes after 4 gameas last year. He said he's healthy and it seems like he wants be traded/released. I wonder if him and Schotty had it out. Strange situation.

It would make more sense if that was the case. I find it hard to believe Cotchery arguing with coaches though. But what do I know about him other than how he plays on the field.

Cotchery is a dick. Seriously though Santonio is 3x the receiver he has ever been.

@JennyVrentas: Asked if now/in the past, he's considered change might be good, Cotchery said, "No question. I don't want to get into specific details" #nyj

@JennyVrentas: Cotchery did share feelings with some: "I don't want to say which coaches, but I have shared it. A lot of ppl didn't see it that way." #nyj

Strange to hear Crotche's argument with coach.

I agree with you. I think everyone else has the green koolaid, cause pretty much Cotchery is gone and Mason is in. Everyone just wants to find the positive spin on anything the Jets do. So you guys all are drinking the green kool-aid.

    Man, I dig this philosophy.

I hope ToneTime69d develops malignant brain lesions on his cerebral cortex so he can't post on the internet anymore.
