I'm plenty worried about that. After this move, I wouldn't be surprised if we took one in the first and then another one in the middle rounds.
I don't know which part to start with this. You go to the media about your coaches or your QB and expect to keep a job. Especially when you're on a one year deal. Or maybe he asked for one. Who the fuck knows right now?
I doubt a 5th rounder. Mason was available in FA and cost the Jets no picks. There could be no compensation if Mason doesn't produce. If Mason does well, I say 6th at best or a 7th.
You might see Joe McKnight getting some reps at WR on 4-5 WR packages. He is one of the few guys on the with explosive speed.
the guy is at the end of his career. he obviously had nothing to lose by doing what he did. either way it works out for both sides...... i guess.
No doubt. At this point, the Jets are going to have to play better than they have so far to get a pick in the 20s. The Jets may get to take him early.
We probably should be shying away from 4 WR sets anyway at this point. We could do worse than Scott McKnight as the #5 WR.
Sure, but I don't buy that they were instigated by the Jets. Braylon wanted stupid money and then went insane in a bar again, Cotchery had apparently already said he wanted a bigger role or a trade. I think the Jets did the right thing in both situations.
You say that now...wait until Santonio Holmes, Scotty McKnight, and Jeremy Kerley are the only wideouts on our roster.
I just heard a rumor that we were about to sign Randy Moss. I dropped a quarter in the man's cup just as he started rambling about Reptilians and I proceeded on my way down the sidewalk.
