Guy's had 4 different OC's in his career and he's got the 4th most passing yards in the league since he entered the league in 2014. I think he's pretty system-diverse.
Yes. Free Agency is about scarcity more than value. QB value shouldn't have skyrocketed given the nature of the game but it has. The reason is scarcity. Most people wouldn't pay a fifth of their cap for one position however very few teams believe in their ability to replace a proven QB and so instead the position is consistently over-valued.
also, Trade ZW for whatever you could get for him (if anything) and sign Mike White... then your set... you have your draft picks
Carr isn't worth what he's asking. In 9 years he's had a winning record twice, and is 0-1 in the playoffs. The Raiders choked away a lot of wins in the second half this year and Carr was right there in the middle of it. But God, that would make him the perfect Jets QB. He is another high priced FA that will set us back. Lets pass on this one please.
You were screaming for Zach Wilson's head all year and now you are complaining about Carr?? Carr is 1000 times better than Wilson and if the Jets sign him that would be the end of Wilson with the Jets. I don't understand. You should be thrilled.
I really want to see see Rodgers in Jets green but, this not sure, prima Donna, cave thing is getting old quick. If he's this much of a pain in the ass now what'll be like as a Jet. Open up the vault Woody and sign Carr pronto. Get it done Douglas.
A few weeks ago I would have been stoked at getting Carr in the building... But my excitement has tempered once the Aaron Rodgers carrot was dangled in front of me. Do we go for the bird in the hand... or shoot for the star quarterback? Knowing the Jets we'll end up with Mitch Trubisky...
Is he the best player of the maybe possible potential suitors? No! Is he the best sensible option and the one I think the Jets should go with? I think so!
If they all hit it off this weekend, sign him. Don't wait for the guy tripping his ass off all week to make a decision.
I would love Rodgers but if Jets don't have some pointers from his camp, the heck with him and go after Carr hard. If we had Carr last year we would make the playoffs and God knows what would have happened.

I am trying to get that mental image out of my head Brook.. If Rodgers were in the dark, how did he plan on filming it? Infrared?? This entire episode is old and frankly, I'm past caring what Rodgers does. He didn't impress me when we kicked their ass up in GB last year. In fact, Carr beat us on a last second bomb that cost Gregg Williams his job if memory serves. Tired of the eternal drama surrounding this team. Sign Carr, be done with Rodgers and move on to plugging the talent holes on our roster.
