Just means he’ll be on the team. Don’t mean he will be starting. Financially they can’t move on from him, it’ll cost them more to dump him than it would to keep him
all depends on the price... Carr has had a stronger 9 year record of production (yardage, yds/pass, TDs, TD-INTs) than any combination of Jets QBs over any 9 year stretch in franchise history. He's not old by modern QB standards either. If he's motivated and stil hungry-- has at least 5-6 solid years left. Not in love with him but he'd be a bit time upgrade.
It sounds like we are getting the answers on what we have at QB, first for Zach, and now for Mike. Unfortunately it's just not the answers we wanted. White miracle didn't happen, and Carr remains #1 realistic option for the Jets.
What you are saying basically is that Carr = car? Also, you may be the first one to use a comparison to a Mustang to shit on the guy.
I think they bring in Carr and have Wilson as backup. I believe White is out. Zach contract guaranteed, basically you get Carr, solidify the position, see if you can salvage Zach. Those are your QBs.
Of the two roster QBs you mention why would you keep the one who performed worse and get rid of the one who played better in their chances the past two seasons?
Way too high. JD would be stupid to give up that much. even as much as I'd like Carr on the the team. JD just has to be patient - he has shown himself to be - and wait for the price to come down.
