He is definitely not the guy to get us over the hump to the Super Bowl, that I agree with. But he played a pretty good team that's fighting for a playoff spot on the road last night. Our chumpstains couldn't even put up garbage time stats against the dregs of the league.
I mean yeah I’d argue for sure that it’s irritating seeing even guys like Bryce Young move the ball in garbage time and we can’t. But I’d also argue that the Saints were in a huge hole because of the shit game Carr played until the fourth quarter.
No question. I'm usually the first guy to laugh at people with the "better than what we have" attitude. It's such a defeatist thought process that settles for mediocrity or worse just because it's better than what we normally have. But this year, even the smallest margin of "better than what we have" would have changed the entire complexion of this season. Last year too, but so much more so this year.
