Food poisoning that causes massive off-season weight loss and now another mystery illness that is causing him to miss practice time and a good excuse to be inactive again?

I dunno. Doesn't past the smell test.

Nah, he was at the meetings and they sent him home. Probably said he didn’t feel good and they said get him out of here before he infects one of the good receivers.

Reporters tried every angle possible to get Denzel to say something bad about the situation.

He may not be ready for the field but he's definitely more than capable of handling the NY media.

The only bad thing to come out of this media session is him referring to Keelen, Corey and Jamison as the "old, old guys". I imagine their going to rib him a bit for that comment

Kid just isn't ready for this system yet.

I hope to see him on the field more the second part of this season and contributing. Moving into next season will be a big year for him too.

Sometimes it takes guys a bit longer and the worst thing that happened was making him inactive for Jeff Smith. That's what did all this chatter.

If he was a fourth round pick it be a lot quieter on the dude, but he wasn't and let's be honest.......were all a bit anxious about our second round pick history!!!

Personally, I want to see this guy out there. His speed, size....however, I'm going to trust the coaching staff on this, maybe he's just a complete fucktard?

In all honesty, I have a lot more respect for him after that than I did before, he played them vultures with a straight bat, in fact, all they did was make themselves look likes pieces of shit, skip raking journo's.

Remarkable... Cimini had him inactive. Lets see if he gets some action today.

He’s wr6 so not sure how many res he gets. All depends on whether the o can sustain drives.

I take this back. I'm not trusting the OC, he needs to be on the field a lot more.

Yea he has 2 catches. He's the best WR in the league, can't believe he barely plays!!!

I give TGG credit, I was expecting a bunch of posts after his first catch.

Yeah two catches in a two score game with 2 mins left means the flurry of posts calling for him to start and get ten targets a game are.comong.

Who else gets as open as Mims? Moore doesn't. Davis does on occasion. Nobody else does. If it wasn't for Mims, that last TD doesn't happen. I get it. Mims sucks because the CS doesn't play him.

I get it, but, Cole is doing much and Mims seems to be wide open at times, and at this point, what can it hurt?

He’s been targeted like 4 times in 5 games and has 3 catches. Davis drops shit constantly, Moore never seems open. Crowder and Berrios are the only reliable guys right now so what’s the harm in giving Mims more targets?

You're emotional enough about the Jets losing and their offense on one hand, but saying to bench a player who has been semi productive for another who can't get on the field but looks like he has the physical tools on the other.

Every poster who rants in this thread is dead to me and probably most reasonable posters on this board. If Mims works out great, if he doesn't so is life.
