Imagine being so triggered the highlight of your day is watching a certain WR getting flagged for illegal motion or drop a pass?
yeah he did. There were a few good blocks on that play. Brown & Davis did a nice job at the first level and Mims took out the second level defender. The only real good play from the offense all day but we'll take it
Looks like Mims will get another shot against the Pats. It's amazing how things can turn if you work hard and keep your chin up.
Mims is going to get all of Corey Davis’ work I think. No other WR on the team is a willing run blocker like Davis and Mims are. Mims laid a block on that hall run and started flexing because he knew what his block did.
He hasn't had the surgery yet to the best of my knowledge--most recommendations are 2-4 weeks after injury. I guess most guys stay home at this point but I'd really like to see him out there.
Is this a legit chance for Mims to show he can part of the team, or a "cameo" do JD can entice some other team to take him? Or both? I guess we'll soon see. Unless Douglas can use him to get a decent T, I hope Mims finally shows he can be a part of the team.
Hopefully, they'll run a few plays for him. I know lots of peeps dislike him, but me, I wanna see him given a chance to show, when healthy, he can do the job. Would be great to know that CD's eventual replacement is on the team.
I'm hoping Mims has a Stephen Hill week 1 2012 game. Catches two touchdown passes and looks great, only to be traded to by next week.
Good game by Mims today. Made some plays and even had a catch out of bounds, which Zach overthrew a bit. Perhaps he deserves another shot next week.
I don't understand why they don't target Mims more. He's a big tall receiver like Davis, has some decent speed. They don't spread the ball around enough. It was the Conklin & Garrett Wilson show with a few cameos by other Jet receivers.
Why? How many times has MLF gotten all his players involved in a game? He's able to design decent plays sometimes, but in general, aside from Breece, when has he used his whole arsenal??? It's just too much for him. Last season the excuse was they didn't have players. Now that they have playermakers... he'll target one, maybe two players a game, & everyone else is ignored. MLF is in over his head, & his stupidity is probably gonna force JD to trade Moore, sooner than later. Moore looked terrible after the game... should never have gotten to this.
