I think this is the year Shanahan loses his genius label and becomes Just Another Coach.

We have to take care of business vs Denver. Very encouraging that they can't stop the run and that when we can run the ball we control games. Let's hope the CS doesn't come out with a gameplan similar to what we used @ Oak. I have faith in Mangini though.

It's amazing but we are doing things we are never good at. Going down and scoring on our 1st drive. We lead the NFL in 5+ minutes drives and we seem to score alot of points off turnovers. Hell today was the 1st time in nearly 4 whole games that a team has started a drive inside our territory. These are all characteristics of a very good football team. I can't believe the Jets and good football team are in the same sentence. A win next week would be huge heading into a tough December but I honestly believe 3 out of the next 5 will win us the division.

They have weird PF/PA stats because they are a weird team. Their RBs are hurt, and they play no defense. Hillis isn't bad, but he's more of a fullback. They won't run on us at all. Revis should contain Marshall. Eddie Royal worries me. So might Stokley. Is he healthy?

We should put up a big number offensively. If Royal and MArshall's big plays are minimized, we'll win handil, assuming we show up and play hard.

we should be able to just line up and push these guys off the ball big time, we need to keep cutler somewhat in check and we beat this team 38-21 or something. Yes thats right 38 thats what we drop on people now,.

Denver's run D is about as bad as you get in the NFL. Hopefully Shotty does not pull a KC type game on us and we spend time runnign it down thier throat all day long.

What was most encouraging about yesterday's performance was how we controlled the game. Tennessee was never in control, not once. we scored early and then ate as much of the clock as we wanted to (40+ minutes).

I can't remember the last season I could say that going into December. We need to show up and play on Sunday and everything else will be fine. It shouldn't even be a contest if we do that.

We don't have the right to look past anyone after losing the Raiders. If we stay hungry, we'll get the results we're looking for. This is where that whole 'character guy' approach should pay off. You fight through the lows and don't get to cocky during the highs.

That's what's so great about having veterans like Favre in the locker room. He's been down that road and seen it a hundred times, where some of teh younger guys feel like all you have to do is show up to win the game.

The Oakland game smacked some sense into everybody and the KC game wasn't much better.

Honestly I feel we are a much better football team because of those games. I don't think I've ever experienced as much anger after one game and then so much happiness in one season. This has been one of the most exciting seasons in my lifetime. To me 98 was more exciting because it was only a two team race while this year there any team in the AFC that makes it to the playoffs can win it all.
