Dennis Thurman expected to be made new DC

    How does anybody know he can call plays and design a game plan? What makes people think he will be more aggressive and/or better than Pettine?

    If Rex is the de facto coordinator, that is one thing, but I don't get why people are sky high about Dennis Thurman.

    I'm not sure if you're aware of this but............Mario had 5 sacks in the only 5 games he played as an OLB in the 3-4. Not saying he would duplicate those numbers.......but thats pretty impressive.

    Rex said, we are still going to run the Jets defense.

    So Thurman will coach, and as for play calling, Rex may ease him into it.

    That's great but what we need is an OC who can do the same.

    I thought Rex Ryan was the Jets DC.
