I still have the Edwards press conference from 10-30-02 in my top spot. That was my favorite Edwards moment of his Jets career. It's a positive in my book. I agreed with what he said and the Jets had been playing like they didn't care to win. Before 10-30-02, Jets 2-5 After 10-30-02, Jets 7-2 (and then 1-1 in playoffs) I did not see the entire Green press conference, but from the clip I saw on PTI it was excellent. (I will not bother with the above posted youtube link for I have no sound on my computer.) The Mora "playoffs" one is annoying to me. I don't care for it. He had a few from his Saints days that were better. Anything with Hal McRae (former baseball manager) and Buddy Ryan was usually good. I remember one from his Cardinals days, where Ryan referred to all his players by their numbers! Someone has to find an audio clip (for the amusement of those who have sound on their computers) of the infamous Lee Elia tirade. That occurred in 1983 when he was the Cubs manager. Just about every other word had to be beeped out.
"The Bears are who we thought they were, that's why we took the damn field!" Well Denny, I thought you took the field because they were next on the schedule...So if you were to play Indy next week you'll just say "Nah, we're not gonna take the field, the Colts are not who we think they are." Great tirade.
My college football team's hopefully soon to be ex-Coach can give them a run for their money http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvrRvUYRdD8&mode=related&search=
omg thats it.. dennis green tirade will lead to the cards winning every game rest of the way... and they will end up winning the superbowl.
The second half of that quote was just gibberish. The first half of it was real football talk. With "The Bears are who we thought they were", Green was explaining how he and his staff knew what the Bears were going to do. Green felt his team had an excellent gameplan both offensively and defensively. Unfortunately, they turned the ball over two times late in the game and they allowed a great play on special teams. He made the correct move by going with Leinart. The performances of Warner and Leinart indicate this to be so. His team lost two straight games at home when they had sizeable leads. In Week 5 their kicker missed a FG at the end which would have put the game into overtime. In Week 6 their kicker missed the potential game-winning FG. The Cardinals easily could be 3-3. The Cardinals were on national television against an undefeated team. It doesn't help that Green probably dislikes the Bears very much considering he coached against that team 21 times previously (that includes one postseason game). I can fully understand the man's frustration.
 I know, it has to be frustrating losing games how they did...1st the Rams disaster where Warner gagged it...Then last week 14-0 lead on KC, then Monday's disgusting ending... But I just find it funny... No, you took the field because they were next on the schedule... Work with me here Cakes. I'm using his exact quote and using it against him, like my boy Jim Rome!
lol Jim Rome is a douche. and the whole "thats why we took the field" that applies to the fact everyone expected it to be a massacre, yet they obviously knew they could beat the bears as they dominated them almost the whole game. its funny, thats a given.but the guys not babbling, hes just pissed. and understandably so. in fact my favorite part is "you wanna crown them? then go ahead and crown them" cuz honestly Grossman was finally exposed, and now all this bullshit talk can stop about him being a top QB because of the QB Rating his defense hands to him.
 "I was f-ing pissed and I'm f-ing pissed again. See what you guys did? Are you happy now? I'm f-ing pissed"
rofl, yeah. like it was just so much screaming, one of those rants where you hear someone so loud and long enough you expect blood to start shooting out of their ears while they scream rofl.
i dont understand the whole " if you wanna crown their ass...then crown em" ,,,,a bit abstract at first ,but thats what makes the freak out so special to me.
