Funny how those that seem to always attack others political views now have a problem with people voting for a moderate. That goes to a lack of a brain on his part.

You would be doing many a service by doing just that.

Why talk a hypothetical scenario with Webb as an independent in a Democratic debate thread?

You guys must realize that all politicians are full of shit. At least when Hillary gets elected, they'll know what they're getting. George Carlin does say it best

Hypothetical? Do you know what the word means? Webb running as an independent is not something that is far out there hypothetical it is a very real probability.
That being said, once again you can just go fuck yourself douche bag.

By putting a gun to his head? How so?

Why not, Webb stood behind a podium on the same Democratic stage as the Coronation Queen, Bernie and O'Malley.....that is when the 'democratic debates' were attempting to give the (false) impression that they were open to the independent-thinking wing of the party. Besides, there's no 'Independent Party' thread.

"must realize?" Is that you Sensei?

"They'll know what they're getting" from a person whose history reeks of surreptitious finagling? Not exactly hand-in-glove logic (by any objective measure).

yeah. I may or may not vote for Hillary myself but if the reasoning for doing so is "all politicians are full of shit, at least with Hillary you'll know what you're getting" is about the shittiest reason to vote for anyone. Lets just say that rallying cry isn't going to make me want to cast my vote for her

nothing wrong with supporting Webb, he's a damn good man.

Webb was originally running as a democrat. He was in the first democratic debate (you know, what the thread is about?) which you obviously didn't watch.

As for Hillary, I question whether you actually do know what you're getting with her. I doubt it very much, actually. I think you just put on your blue pom-poms and wave them vigorously.

Excuse me, but you dodged something:

    The Waterboy said:
Not sure why someone who might lean a little to the right and is considering a centrist would then just decide to go full on lib.
Would have to put a gun to my head to make me vote for Hillary.

    atta boy, oy boy!

    Spewing?....scathing? ..... you were saying?

Waterboy merely suggests a moderate, Jim Webb, as a viable alternative and little miss blind-partisan you go off the deep end with your snide "...are delusional, not surprising from your content though" comment, so spare us with the 'scathing' attack b.s. . You're the only one-trick partisan troll here and if that means you can't handle a contrarian politcal viewpoint without acting like a dbag then it stands to reason that you should (to paraphrase Waterboy): "go invaginate yourself." <---how's that for pretense oy boy? :)

So nyjetsmets89, what are your thoughts on Jim Webb? Or are you just participating to talk shit to posters who you view as "the enemy"?

Once Webb crosses the imaginary blue line in the sand it will all be over in jetsmets eyes. I thought libs were supposed to be accepting of others but they seem to have the biggest problems with those with differing views.

All this is why my voter registration says NPA on it.

Indifferent. He has no chance of winning. No sense in discussing him in a Democratic debate thread. He dropped out. That's it

Democratic cock tastes so good though. Mmm

Was listening to a Bernie Sanders clip on MSNBC this morning and one after another of his talking points I frankly was in agreement with, i.e. gazillionaires paying more than 15-20% taxes, restructuring horrible trade deals, national infrastructure rehab, etc.

Last night however was another story. . After a hefty pair of Hendricks cucumber martinis (w/St. Germain elderflower liqueur replacing the vermouth), this guy started making a hell of a lot of sense and sounded more and more debate-worthy by the minute:

"How can we make sure that THE INJUSTICE of there being no helium for commedians to get that 'high-pitched voice' that we all hold near and dear to our hearts." <--- he never did finish the thought btw.....

then went on to say: "Imagine a world without balloons..."

That Hank Johnson is the same one that worried the build up of Marines in Guam would cause it to tip over. How the fuck do these people get elected? Never mind, already know the answer, they have people like nymetsjets89 and pclfan voting for them.
