Usually cannabis that causes anxiety is high in the pinene terp. If you stay away from strains high in pinene, cannabis is usually an anxiety reducer.
I am prone to anxiety when I vape weed and these have yet to give me that feeling. If you take the prescribed dose (1 gummy) it a very mild buzz. I really like them.
Not exactly sure for the D8s but if you were to purchase marijuana legally through either a medical dispensary or recreational they will usually list the terp profile for each strain or at the very least be knowledgeable on the subject. Sites like Leafly also sometimes have terp profiles of particular strains. To make it a bit simpler it is usually straight Sativas that induce anxiety while indicas or indica dominant hybrids will help with anxiety.
That's fair. I typically use what I like to call 'bud lite': 1/2 of a 10 mg gummy of sativa. Very nice all body high, not too mind altering, but you're definitely losing a little bit off your fastball, mentally.
I was able to order some Delta 8 but I haven't given it a go just yet because I like plain old CBD every night. What can I expect?
I fall asleep instantly and just an overall drowsy relaxing feeling on about 50mg (gummy) that gets increasingly better the closer I get to falling asleep. Honestly a similar drowsiness to what I remember from the come down after smoking late at night (haven't in about 5 years).
I've tried a bunch of different CBD products and never felt a thing except for a back rub that I think was only effective because of the menthol in it.
I've only vaped regular CBD and it does nothing for me. A 50 mg edible is probably a lot different though.
