Don't you guys see that this is what the New England terrorists want? In the face of what could potentially be one of their darkest hours, they not only have you fighting each other, but fighting each other over your own team's legends. You must resist!

That's makes him underrated? That's enough for you to not like him? Who the hell wins without the turnover battle? No QB ever won a Championship by himself. C'mon the one guy that got it done and you wanna make excuses why he shouldn't get credit...hate on!

Honestly I thought it was fine. He's right, this should be a big deal for ESPN, but the thought that with all the important shit that never gets covered all the major news networks devoted hour upon hour to this is ridiculous. I mean the idea that possible cheating that had little to no impact on the game is more important to the news networks than terrorism, war, economic issues, healthcare, just about any important issue, is sad.

If it wasn't Pats, someone would be already serving a 1-yr suspension.

Doubt it, two other teams broke the rule this year by putting the balls in front of heaters and just got a warning not to mess with the ball anymore. This blew up because it was the title game.

My point was that it was asinine to even make the comparison.

Which team? Is placing footballs in front of heaters prohibited by the rules? Was this done by a team previously caught cheating?
    Link?

at 2:48 Blandino explains it, but yes it is in the rules, you may not alter the ball in any way, and the NFL has directly stated several times that heating the ball is expressly prohibited.

So the NFL says they don't have a clue as to what happened:

So if the NFL finds the Patriots did something to doctor these balls, how are they going to significantly punish them given this previous infraction only resulted in the the issuance of a memo?

He did this 8 years ago so that this year he could use underinflated balls?

Or he has been using them for 8 years and people just now a) noticed or b) chose to rat him out. If I recall Kraft was the leader of the group that prevented headsets on defensive players causing teams to keep using purely hand signals, that year spygate happened and the next summer headsets were granted to the D. Again, my memory could be wrong on this one.

Do you Cheatriots fans have the mental capacity to realize that your team is a bunch of fucking cheaters? Holy crap the denial by you fuckers is amazing.

Also take into account what he did for the game. The guarantee and leading an AFL team to a win in the Super Bowl revolutionized pro football. His celebrity on an AFL team brought the league to the forefront and was no longer a second tier circus act, at least much less of one. I have long suspected that Namath was put in the hall as much for his part in making the merger happen and building the game of football (his time on MNF) as he was for his at the playing career (he was the Favre of the 60's).

The NFL could have video and audio evidence of them cheating and Pats fans would still fucking deny it. Or they will say everyone is out to get them. I hope the NFL throws the book at them.
