I hate every single thing about the Yankees. But it's difficult not to respect Jeter for both his baseball play and bang roster. The new SI chick might be the best though. She's literally being paid for being hot and he's banging that at 40-something.
"Every single thing?" Listen, don't hate the Yankees just because they haven't held "Gay Pride Night" at Yankee Stadium. And don't hate the Yankees because of their pinstriped uniforms, or the fact that they're the only team to never have had player names on their uniforms, or for winning 27 World Championships. "Sweet Caroline." <--- wicked cool…. Boston Red Sox having "Gay Pride Day" at Fenway Park this Thursday, June 6! "Gay" basketball player Jason Collins throwing out first pitch. This Thursday evening, June 6, the Boston Red Sox are celebrating Gay "Pride Night" at Fenway Park at their home game with the Texas Rangers. This is an official celebration of "Gay Pride Week" (going on now) and the Red Sox will be donating money to support the week's "gay" events. According to the official "Pride Week" website, the Red Sox are partnering with the Boston Pride Committee, and this is an "official 2013 Pride Event."Furthermore, during the game, Boston's "LGBT community will be recognized." The Boston Red Sox will have a special "gay" section in the grandstand and will donate a percentage of the proceeds that night to Boston Pride. In an effort to involve more young people. the Red Sox flyer on this was handed out at the LGBT Youth Pride event on May 18. According to a Red Sox staffer we spoke to, "gay" basketball player Jason Collins will be throwing out the first pitch that night. vvv - not that there's anything wrong with it, but still…. "May I check your baggage, sir?"
Back on topic a bit... I am curious what people's views are on here regarding the Jerry Rice situation? It hasn't gotten the DeflateGate full court press from the media, but he essentially admits to cheating/using stickum throughout his career. Do people think the 49ers titles (with him) should have an *? Or Denver for winning while cheating on salary cap 2x? Should the Falcons wins be forfeited over the season they were piping in artificial noise? Or the 49ers again for scripting first 15 plays of SB and then cutting the QB/coach communication so Giants would have to cut theirs as well? I'm honestly curious what constitutes having "cheated" and what doesn't?
Purposely deflating footballs in order to gain competitive advantage constitutes cheating. Now run back to patcheat forum and spread the news
Which previously banned Pats troll are you? Patriots cheated. What anyone else did is irrelevant. This isn't second grade where you whine to the teeacher "well, Johnny did it too". Why don't you go to 49erfan.com and ask their fans what they think of Rice. But on The Gang Green, the Pats cheated. Full stop. Can somebody check the IP address on this joker? _
No need to check my IP address. I've never been banned on here, and hopefully won't be right now for trying to have a discussion. Not sure what in my original post prompted the venomous response. Nowhere in my post did I state the Patriots didn't allegedly cheat. That wasn't the point. My point was more about generating a discussion on where the line is/should be with respect to considering a player/team cheating? I was just curious. Personally, if you care to know (cue: 'we don't' snarky reply), I think all of the above (INCLUDING the Patriots, if they are found to have deflated the balls in any way) are forms of cheating. What is the appropriate penalty? Not sure... The Browns are likely to get punished fairly hard for their texting situation... and the Patriots/Falcons should likewise if they are found guilty. What about past teams? Do the 49ers skate clean in "history's eyes" and should they? Just topics for discussion. Resume your ranting towards me now I guess.
J Stokes is a dink who thinks he got me banned. You won't get any civil discussion out of him. You also won't convince anyone on here that the Patriots aren't cheaters. Put yourself in their place. I do admit to posting media stories that point towards the Pats not being guilty. It really pisses off some of these guys. I miss Byz. At least we could shit on each other and fun some with it.
Don't applaud yourself, I didn't even notice if you were gone, nor did I care. You're not that important. _
"Back on topic" from a first time poster with his first post. Previously banned Pats troll reopens with a patented deflection. I can't wait for "besides, the balls were only a tick below". _
Is it not related to the general topic? Or should I start a new thread? Since there were ~10 responses, none of which even attempted to enter into genial discourse on the questions I raised, I will drop the issue. I thought it was moving the thread in a relevant direction (comparing the Patriots, not ignoring them), but I guess unless you bleed green, you aren't allowed to even show up to talk football related issues.
