Way easier to hold a flat football and harder to fumble.

Yeah a flat football sure makes it harder to tackle.

Maybe but not getting anything done offensively early in a game really kills a team. Maybe a dead ball caused some errors.

This isn't the reason the Colts lost, but this franchise just can't seem to avoid cheating. WTF? Lol..

11 of 12 altered AFTER balls were checked is unreal!
They just flaunt what they do up there.
If Goodell doesn't serve Belichik up a year off, he should just quit.

Does not matter if the Patriots would have still won or not, they still cheated and that should never have been the case here.

The Patriots put themselves in a position with an edge when they really don't need it...They cheated and they need to be punished. Colts still lose possibly but Patriots had to use a boost to to get over the hump.

    Pathetic.

It is definitely pathetic and deserves a harsh punishment, had nothing to do with the Colts getting spanked though.

The Pats are basically the NFL equivalent of the Miami Hurricanes of the 80's, 90's, and early 2000's

Exactly. It would actually make some sense if the Pats didnt have such a huge advantage going into this game. Like if they did it during last years title game in Denver I could understand why.

You're missing the point. No one here is saying the Colts would've won..or that they should be in the Superbowl.

Thats far from the point. And who's to say they didnt do this 2 weeks ago against Baltimore too? That was a game they could've easily lost. Chances are BB didnt just wake up Sunday morning and have this idea.

But let's also get real . BB knows nothing serious will happen to him. He knows the rules and the consequences of breaking them.

I think that if they can trace this to BB, Kraft will have to fire him. He has a brand to protect and he doesnt want this reputation.

Stop bringing up the fact that anyone here is going on about the Colts winning or losing. No one thinks the Colts would have won there. This just needs to be a serious punishment on that piece of shit organization, including Bellicheat and the Tom Brady

Ridiculous. Kraft will never fire BB short of him getting arrested for murder.

That being said, if the NFL finds evidence that the Patriots underinflated the balls on purpose, I expect the Patriots to be punished accordingly. Their punishment could be worse than most teams given their history of cheating (and for the fact that this happened in the AFC championship game. It's a big game to get caught cheating.)
