I have mixed feelings on DWC. I always thought he meant well but it is so much nicer when he is not here posting. The poaching thing was cheap especially after all that Brook did to give him another chance. I thought his posting was getting better but this last week his posts have seemed much more aggressive and argumentative.
Good riddance! Trying to poach posters from TGG is clearly only about his ego, as were all of his posts. As for anyone who wants to post on other sites, I don't see a problem there, but IDK how you can find the time to be active and engaged on more than one. And no, he certainly didn't invite me, and I'm sure not offended...in fact, I feel more like it's a "badge of honor" if anything. Hopefully this is the last post I'll have to make about DWC.
I am on this one, two man city ones and a Carlisle Utd forum as well, also a cricket one and an online football manager game that also has its own forum. I don't sleep btw
One of the most passionate fans on this board. It's a shame he couldn't tone it down a little bit and cut the posts down by 10,000 words. Every post was well informed, but an insta scroll down for me because who the hell wants to read all that
Couldn't disagree more - I took a hiatus of a full year a few years ago because I found the behavior of so many posters so appalling and intolerable back then. To each their own, I guess. As far as DWC goes, if his behavior online is nothing like his behavior offline, then it's just an internet thing, and him disappearing fixes the problem. If his behavior here carries over to the real world, however, he's got issues he needs to try to get help for, because his incessant demand for attention is not healthy. I never understood why he was allowed back so many times, so I won't miss him, that's for sure. Obviously being on multiple forums is not a violation of anything, but if he actually actively tried to get people to leave the site, I understand completely that being a bannable offense.
I honestly don't know what to make of DWC. First, I thought he was just an enthusiastic fan who had too much time on his hands. Then, some here said he was actually a Fins fan who was trolling. Now, he gets banned for the 90th times for trying to poach posters to other forums.
DWC reached out to me to join the other board... where I was already a member... Am I gonna get banned now, @Brook! ? DWC doesn't bother me in the least... he ain't a troll... he's just enthusiastic to a fault. I don't get the hate when the ignore button is just a click away.
