Decker has done very well for the Jets since he's been here. I don't think he's overrated at all and I think his importance to the Jets offense was on full display while he was here, and while he was not here last season. I will say though that Decker's off the field antics, specifically his minicamp no show to show support for Fitz has irked me ever since it happened. I don't fully blame him but I also don't condone it. No player, unless you're a God-like QB, should force a front offices' decision. I hope he learned never to put friends above the team or else he will find himself off the team in time.
The voluntary OTA's are, as Bowles said, voluntary. Many vets miss voluntary camps and let's not forget who started the "Marshall and Decker are skipping OTA's for Fitz" story, it was Mehta. No confirmation, just a Manish Mehta guess.
Good idea. Let's go into the year with virtually no wide receiver experience in terms of NFL service along with our 2nd and 3rd year quarterbacks.
I've seen many a member point the finger at another and seen many uncalled for comments but that comment made no sense .. you joined lol. Take a joke bro .. Comon we are all Jets fans.
You're nuts He's a good receiver and a good teammate. You do realize that Decker somehow was able to have success and chemistry with Geno Smith AND Tim Tebow. It's no surprise that he's still here as we hand the reigns over to Hackenberg or Petty.
Agreed on Pryor .. Also where did all that Louisville slugger crap go?! I wonder if Rex got a tattoo of that under his Sanchez Skin Shrine.
Totally. As if this is 1977 NFL and you can get away with borderline murdering guys like Jack Tatum. I've seen a few decent hits he's laid but he's got no ball skills and poor football instincts in general
He's more like Channing Tatum playing a football player .. and not to mention his weak cover skills. Like you said he's not a total bust as he does make some occasional plays in the box against the run, but he does not play like you'd want a 1st rounder to. I had a bad feeling when he bumbled that would be pick six against the Raiders opening day 2014.
