Tate. Hernandez could split out wide as well. I could see them drafting AJ Green/Baldwin/Floyd in next year's draft with their Raiders pick...unfortunately.
Moss to Vikes Strong rumors out ot NE that they are in contact with the Vikes to give them Randy Moss. You can bet Bellyache is doing it now to stuff the Jets!
this is going to happen...patriots will see it through to make sure he is on the vikings roster before we play monday night...makes monday night alot tougher for sure...with revis not 100% and harvin and shancoe, deep threat in berrian added with AP...this could be a bad result for us
Darrelle Revis 10/05/2010 08:48 PM ET Everyone beat it with the Randy Moss stuff & go get a. Motorola Droid X HAHA!!!
You guys are really underestimating the talent that New England has in the passing game. Don't get me wrong, no one on their current roster comes close to Randy Moss in terms of talent, but they have some solid players to build around. Wes Welker is obviously there. He's the best slot receiver in the league. They drafted two very good tight ends and a sleeper wideout this year. Hernandez is a mismatch from hell and Gronkowski is just a solid all-around tight end. Wideout Taylor Price definitely has the ability to play in this league - he's the perfect fit for their offense. Brandon Tate is fast as hell and he's quietly developing into a threat for Brady. Julian Edleman has been surprisingly dangerous. Don't underestimate them. Brady has a lot of weapons. They may be a bunch of lesser known players, but they've got talent.
pft is reporting it http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/10/05/pats-say-there-is-no-trade/ but it is florio.....
that report seems to coincide with all the other information thats been going around, didnt see anything that said it was bogus.
Nah, this is good news for us. But for a blown coverage Moss did nothing against the Jets two weeks ago, and I'd rather face him next Monday with Favre looking for him than at Foxboro later in the season with Brady.
Cross your fingers that this one turns out to be true. The Pats offense would be really noticeably worse without Moss. Plus, as far as Monday night's concerned, it's not like we haven't shut him down in the past.
