I really don't like the options they have now for Vrabel's spot (Woods, Banta-Cain, Crable). Take him for that spot and draft your ILB (Mathews) with the bunch of picks they have.

Interestingly they offered him more money to restructure, but in return wanted him to show up 3 times a week for at least 8 of the 13 offseason weeks in return, and he said he'd rather spend the time with his family than have the extra money so they cut him
Yeah, exactly. That would seem to mean his career is over. Either that or he may get a chance to sign some minimum contract for somebody else. Nobody is going to want to give him big bucks knowing he would rather sit home than attend off season workouts with the team.
