I don't think this is as one sided as you make it sound. Maybe jets throw in a late pick or a swap.

Plus "homer guys"? If you know nothing about me then keep your mouth shut please. I'm the furthest thing from a homer.

I can’t even tell which team you think is getting the far better end of the deal here, that’s how not one-sided it is.

Everyone else kind of beat me to it, but I don't see Renfroe being the type of guy you look at and say "wow, he really should attract more" !

Hunter Renfroe only wears one batting glove. I wouldn’t want him either.

That didn’t seem very satirical in context.

Is this thread gonna just be a WR wishlist or are we going to maybe suggest some more likely and needed help elsewhere across the roster?

Even bad teams can’t just trade away their starting guard and take their chances with the backup. Offensive line play is pretty down across the league.

When’s the last time you’ve seen anything other than a significant receiver, runningback or defensive end dealt at the deadline? Roquon Smith last year I guess.

I actually couldn’t tell you the last time a starting caliber OL was traded midseason. Was Trent Williams mid season? And even if he was, that was a contractual thing where he wanted to get paid. You’d have to hope a team is stacked at IOL while also wanting to save money or tank. Aka, it’s not happening.

The only scenario I can see is a tanking team trying to unload a silly contract that the Jets probably can't afford.

I think it was contract + didn’t he refuse to play with them bc the doctors fucked up some Medicals with him and he didn’t trust them anymore? I could of sworn it was Trent Williams

He had a tumor somewhere and I believe they treated it as it’s fine atta boy get back out there before exploring if it could’ve been cancerous. He didn’t take kindly to that and sat out the season before he got traded.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Duvernay-Tardif trade we made with KC last year now that we are missing AVT and (possibly) Tippman leaving us with only Tomlinson and Schweitzer operating either side of McGovern.

We could bring Johnson or Poe up from the practice squad or maybe we could take on say Powers (Bronco's) or Jenkins (GB) for a low pick as those teams might appreciate the extra capital and have players behind them who they might want to evalute.

Trade the 1st round draft pick that doesn't see the field for something valuable
