BTW, ESPN did an absolutely horrendous job of announcing trades.. They kinda just assumed everyone knew. Paired with Berman insinuating picks as he was throwing it to the commish, their broadcast was just awful.

Berman is horrible OMG, he literally announced the Bosa pick... like literally he's like they're going Bosa and I'm like are u kidding me thats the only pick we didnt know about heading into the draft. And then u steal the thunder after the NFL told networks to stop announcing picks. I think I'm done watching it on ESPN, i love Riddick but wtf is Gruden doing on there and Kiper is blahh just boring and old.

Dear god, they'd have drafted... an offensive identity that's semi-functional. This cannot be allowed to pass.

    ---

If Myles Jack doesn't go in the top 5 picks of the 2nd round I will be extremely confused and NFL GMs clearly know something about that knee that we don't. The Titans and Jags both had good reasons to take the players they did, but I don't see both of them passing on him a second time unless there is a capital-p Problem.

Talk of us grabbing a pair of seconds from Tennessee for Mo is silly and should cease immediately. Mo's contract demands don't fit with Tennessee's rebuilding timeline. We may get multiple picks for him, but I doubt more than one is a second rounder. More likely Tennessee gives us some lower-round picks and a mid-rounder next year plus a second.

Darron Lee is the second-best coverage LB in this draft after a healthy Myles Jack. (He's got better instincts in that area than Smith.)

    ---

Spence or Spriggs are my top 2 picks but I fully expect them both to be gone by the time we're up again. Cody Whitehair or Nick Martin would make a solid consolation prize to solidify the interior of the OL. My tackle knowledge drops off a lot after Spriggs

Gruden was actually critical of some players for a surprise. Maybe they told him to be. Usually the only thing he scrutinizes is how great all the players' asses taste.

I'll always watch ESPN for Kiper. Not because I really like Kiper or anything but I'm nostalgic and a draft wouldn't be the same without Kiper.

Lastly about their broadcast I thought it was hilarious when we were on the clock and all they did was talk Quarterbacks the whole time. 10 mins on the clock. 8 1/2 minutes about Paxton Lynch, 1 1/2 minutes on if they dont like Lynch will they pick Cook or Hackenberg here? As if the Jets were only thinkin about QB. They were even playing Paxton Lynch highlights as Goodell was approaching the podium. pFail.

It got me thinking, and this is probably pretty sad, but I'm pretty sure there hasn't been too many, if any, Jets drafts in my adult life where QB wasn't the main topic of discussion when we were on the clock!

    Goodell on the Tunsil situation:

"Part of what makes the draft so exciting"

    Hahahaha

If the FO and staff likes Hackenburg guess roll with him but I wouldnt mind seeing Cody Whitehair come bring some stability and versatility to our line

OL: Jason Spriggs, Cody Whitehair, Shon Coleman, Nick Martin, Joe Haeg
    DL: Javon Hargrave
WR: Tyler Boyd, Sterling Sheperd, Pharoh Cooper
OLB: Jordan Jenkins, Myles Jack, Emmanuel Ogbah, Kyler Fackrell, Kevin Dodd, Shilique Calhoun

The CB I'm most interested in seeing where he goes is Rashard Robinson. He has some red flags, but he has a ton of upside.

I think Myles Jack and Jaylen Smith will both get picked before we pick in the 2nd round at 52... maybe one by Dallas, just a hunch. I haven't seen too many 2nd round mocks and what other teams still need except for Cleveland taking a QB, but what are the chances that o-line Spriggs or Whitehair drop to us or noah Spence for some pass rush?

My short list at this point in time is Cooper, M.Thomas, Hackenberg, Cook... Maybe alexander but the fact that rex didnt take him (clemson) and the fact that he has never had an INT in college worries me.

You would think we would target OLB and O-Line tonight... But I wouldn't doubt it if we took a QB, WR or Corner.

He is either the starter or cut if another QB is signed.
