Myles Jack/Jaylon Smith - obviously medical issues but I'm always in favor of taking a shot on supreme talent within reason
    Mackenzie Alexander
    Derrick Henry
    Pharoh Cooper
    Tyler Boyd
    Noah Spence

    To name a few....

Based on the first round pick, I am not getting my hopes up. Could have had Lynch or Jack. Glad I didn't take off work to watch us fuck it up again.

this is true, in part. while the young man is quick he is not the classic edge guy. but so be it. they need to get faster and they did.....
if we didnt have major needs along the OL, i would think another LB would be on the table later. but its likely going to be tackle or QB.

Thanks. I forgot about Vannett. I'm going to add him to my list as well.

Drafting speed just for the sake of it is what senile Al Davis used to do. The Jets drafted Lee for a specific role.

A lot of good games still on the board. Jordan Jenkins can set the edge really well and would allow Sheldon to play his natural role.

Can you imagine if we nab Noah Spence today?

    DL- Wilkerson, Richardson, Williams
    LB- Harris, Lee, Henderson
    Pass rushers- Mauldin, Spence
    CB- Revis, Williams, Skrine
    S- Pryor, Gilchrist

    I have a pre-boner

I think Hackenberg can stand and rip it with anyone in the draft. My problem with him is he's a fucking statue; he would get swallowed behind our o-line. We need a guy who can create within the pocket like Goff (or Fitz). Cook and Prescott are the 2 most active and aware QBs in the pocket to me.

If we can get away with fielding a 13 man defense we could easily lock up the #1 D. :)

I would love Spriggs but I think if the Jets want Spriggs they are going to have to trade up. I dont see how he would possibly be available at our original slot, but we'll see

By the way, hats off to the Browns. That roster is awful and needs a lot more than 1 player. They traded back twice, acquired a shit load of high picks and still grabbed a great player in Coleman. Awesome night for them.

Would you be opposed to trading up?

I think if we trade up, you could really sit pretty with a handful of round 1 talent that fell

The seldom seen 3-5 big nickel defense is beastly

I'm usually pretty open to trading up but we have so few picks left I'm not this year.
