That was without a doubt one of the most badass plays I've seen by a Jet. David Harris likes to hurt people and that makes me happy.

How many dead babies does Harris feast on before the game to become such a monster! I was thinking about buying a defensive player jersey this year, and I can't decide between Harris, Scott, Big Jenk, or Revis.

Our MLBs should never, never be allowed to leave. That's a absolutely monster pair in the middle.

Harris is a beast. Really glad the rumors of a Harris for Marshall trade didnt happen. If this team is going to be built around a real strong defense then having two guys like Harris and Scott in the middle is great thing to have.

Agreed. Taht combo of harris and Scott is just nasty. Add that to Jenkins giving them room to do whatever the hell they want and its looking to be a hell of a year for this defense.

Just imagine what this defense is going to look like with Ellis and Pace back? I would make the argument that Pace is better all around player than Scott or Harris. Pace will command a lot of attention from blockers, leaving Harris and Scott to do even more damage.

The idea of jail bait for Harris and mortgaging something like that was flat out dumb. I hated the idea, and hindsight is NOT 20/20 on this. Meaning, I doubt the JETS seriously entertained it on certain terms. It was just thrown out there by Denver, hoping the Jets would bite, but my guess is that Tannenbaum raughed out roud.

Calvin Pace is just as good as Harris and Scott, I agree, and he's a better pass rusher than either. Getting him back will be a ridiculous boost and I can't wait to see this D play at full strength!

The Jets are certainly going to miss Pace in the coming weeks, probably next week. However, a healthy Harris is emerging as the best pass rusher on the team. Remember his rookie year he had 5 in the 8 games he started. You can throw out last year....... because.......... well he just wasn't healthy.

If Harris can build on this game and put out the same hurting next week, life will be good, well not for Brady.
