Perhaps not, but I hope we trade down anyway. We need MORE picks and we need a real LT more than we need Bosa.
Only Jets games apply. I don't really follow college ball but I used to read the funny papers religiously when the draft was rolling around. Meaning stuff on real paper.
Figures it would go that way you drug addled pothead! I meant reading them draft papers! Write ups! No internet! I'm older than dirt! You're probably too hopped up to even know how to read your own damn horoscope!!! I'm Aquarius! What's your sign! Let me guess! High! Signed, -Mrs. championjets69
Rolling Papyrus ? That's what we used in ancient times..... My sign ? $ Your late for your nap granny....
The 1980 Jets, who went 4-12, were also a rather disappointing bunch, losing a late season home game to the Aints, who went 1-15 on the year. That Jet team was a preseason favorite to make the playoffs. The following season in 1981, the Jets turned it around with their vaunted Sack Exchange and went 10-5-1 (after starting 0-3) and earned a playoff spot, the first since the Super Bowl Jet team in 1968. Lee's suspension is as irrelevant as this season.
So disappointing, after looking like he had turned the corner and become a legitimate player for us and the future, it turns out he is another thick fucking pothead. YOU HAVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE TO GET STONED you fucking thick cunts, 10 years max of football, raking in huge piles of cash for you to waste later in your life. So god damned dumb
To be fair, the 2016 draft was terrible across the board for most teams. Take a look. Other than the top 5 selected and a few more sprinkled throughout the round, there are a number of guys already cut, traded or benched. At least Darron Lee started, played and stayed relatively healthy.
Horrible policy by the NFL. Marijuana is medically legal in 32 states. It's safer and less toxic than any prescription pain reliever and probably safer than Advil in the long run. Certainly safer than alcohol for taking the edge off. At this point testing employees for marijuana use should be outlawed.
I’ve had multiple concussions, and ACL replacement and screws in my ankle from sports ... it’s by far better for pain than anything a doctor ever prescribed to me. The NFL needs to get over itself and let this go.
The problem is that using marijuana for medically[prescribed reasons doesn't eliminate the high. Of course you can use CBD oil which does not produce the high, but there is no test that will tell the difference between the two, so how would your employer know whether you were treating your pain condition, or getting stoned? And getting stoned DOES impair your judgment and performance, two key elements of any job. We can sure see the results on the field clear enough. In any case, Lee knew the rules and idiotically ignored them. He deserves every bit of consequence he receives, including being cut from the team.
