This thread just took a weird turn. From terrible to awesome. Want to see this for a few more games from Lee before I start trusting him. But irony is strong in this thread.
Lee had a great game tonight. 2 INTs, 1 TD, multiple very nice tackles, and he looked like he learned how to cover this offseason. Small sample size, but encouraging.
Man I thought this thread would be better. I just come from the bar after the feeling of that win, made myself a cup of tea and was ready to read the comments on this post in particular. Darren Lee looked frickin awesome!
It may just be one game, or it may not, but that was a great performance by Lee. If he can keep anything like that up this thread is going to look very silly.
I was complaining about him early in the game when he missed a tackle. Much like Sam's interception, it was forgotten pretty quickly after. Nice game, keep it up, prove us all wrong.
Hopefully the game finally slowed down for him and something clicked because that was one hell of a game by Lee.
Wonder if having the responsibility of play calling forced him to look at the field differently? Something was different last night for Lee
