No way , Steelers would have had him.

Love the pick , but unhappy at the price.

He lasted until the 14th pick because the Bills picked Lynch for some reason. And Houston took Okoye because it was too good to pass up, especially with shut down Dunta

OK, he had better be a stud. We have only 5 picks in this draft. At least 4 better be solid picks.

Those who are so disappointed that we went up to 14 are the ones who were hoping we draft Olsen etc.I am glad we did what we did, we still have two picks left today.

I'm ecstatic that the Jets managed to get Revis. He may not be a shutdown corner right off the bat, but the potential is definitely there. With Mangini as the coach to bring him along, I'm confident the Jets just got a stud #1 CB. I honestly didn't expect Revis to drop to 14 though.

Pittsburgh would have taken him at 15 so your opinion is wrong, which is why we traded up ahead of them

    According to the draft chart....

    The NFL Draft Point Value Chart says you gave up 720 Points (1st), 276 Points (2nd) & 26 Points(5th) for 1,100 (1st) & 21 Points(6th)

    So 1,032 for 1,121.

We won the deal based upon that.

I like the move but would have preferred Alan Branch at 14

    Revis...

    EASILY.

Revis was a one man army on that D. Hall had so many talented men on the line to help take pressure off him.

A shut down corner doesn't last past 10. Why do you suppose other teams passed?

The Jets don't need 10 players this season. There's no point in replacing players who have already spent a year in the Mangini program. They have specific, glaring needs, but not depth needs. Revis was the best player at his position in the draft, and it's the Jets' greatest weakness.

According to the chart, they come out ahead.

Plus, the Pats apparently were looking to trade up as well.

And I guarantee the Jets make some sort of trade for an additional pick somewhere.

    This is a no-brainer.

I honestly have not seen enough of him to judge, but the majority seems happy, so woot!

Hall had gotten beat up by both Jarrett and Ginn in college, why would it be different int he NFL. Revis, however, didn't play much competition in the Big East.
