Last I checked the Fins beat the Jets you the last two times the teams were on the field. So don't bring up on the field performance.

Because all of the other posts are too good to have your name anywhere near them.

You mean that awesome field performance where the Fins averaged 2.3 yards a carry that 2nd game? The game where they netted 104 offensive yards?

Please.. that game was such a fluke and you know it. Unfortunately for you, the only player who beat the Jets with 2 fluke kick return TD's is now gone. So now it's back to running for 2.3 yards a carry with no fluke kick returns.

And in the grand scheme of things.. "field performance" got the Dolphins a below-.500 record. "Field performance" took the Jets 1 half of football away from the Super Bowl. Any more brilliant observations, doctor?

Change the fucking record. Yes, you beat the Jets twice. Then January happened and your team played golf. If losing twice to the Dolphins meant the Jets would at least make it to the AFCC while the fish sat on their asses during the playoffs, I'll take it every time.

Can you guys admit that you made the playoffs largely due to two playoff teams resting their starters..Yes you guys had a good team last year, but obviously good doesn't cut it. I only mentioned the Fins spanking the Jets twice because dude mentioned on the field performance. If you add the Rex Ryan post game rants and Bart Scott crying about the wildcat, they should probably leave more on the field rather than waiting for cameras to come around and acting menstrual.

So would you be more impressed if the NYJ 'legitimately' made the playoffs but were one and done, or did what they did and beat two playoff teams on the road? Enlighten us.

Even with the STATS, the Fins still pulled out the W. I wouldn't care if you guys had 500 yards of offense to the Fins 30 yards, they still won both games in Miami and New York. Actually the last 3 games they played against new york.

Largely due to 2 teams laying down ? We shit on the Bengals in both our house AND theirs.

Then we stomped the chargers in their house, then were set to beat the colts till injuries caught up with us.

That "laid down" crap is a bunch of sore loser bullshit.

Once again.. the on field performance?

    Dolphins- 7-9 record

Jets- one half away from the Super Bowl, #1 rush offense, #1 defense

I'm sorry, I just don't see what is so hard to grasp about this concept??

Must we go through this every fucking time? For the record - Jets made it pretty fucking clear who was better between them and Cinci when we handed them their arses in their own backyard and their players had had a good rest. We were within a score of Indy when Manning et al left, and we were beating them in the Conference game until we lost our main offensive threats. And with the trades we've made, we're better now.

Fish have signed one very talented receiver Revis owned last year and who if you keep your fingers crossed might be eligible for a whole season, you've got no nose tackle of note which, I think we can all agree, is pretty fucking important in a 3-4, and all of a sudden the Dolphins are level pegging with the Jets?

I wish this fucking season would hurry up and start, I can't wait to see Miami get absolutely fucking steamrollered.

The Bengals played their starters for 3 quarters of the game and were still getting shutout by the time they sent in the backups.

The Jets were playing close with Indy right up until they pulled their starters.

The Jets weren't handed either game.

That is much more impressive than making the playoffs. It completely wipes out not having won a playoff game in this millenium. You must be really satisfied, because the Jets have never swept the Dolphins in the regular season have they?

Ok, congrats on those 3 games. What did they get you? A one and done playoff season and then 2 wins in a 7 win season. Awesome stuff.

And for the record, the Jets dominated the whole past decade and have more wins all-time against the Dolphins than the Dolphins do the Jets. For anyone who is into those kind of stats.

Even with your "what ifs" and "teams laid down" dribble, the facts are the Fins had 7 wins, and the jets were 1 half away from the super bowl.

Actually the offseason has brought: Mike Nolan, Karlos Dansby, Brandon Marshall...three major pickups... nothing like LT and Sanburnio..And im not hating on holmes, because outside of Marshall and Boldin, he might be the third best wr playing for a new team next year.

17 out of the last 22 games resulted in a Jets W. Just saying.

" The NFL has decided to cancel the 2010 season and officially award the Lombardi trophy to the Miami Dolphins. The Fins finally caved into their fanbase crying like little bitches and got a topline player, maybe the only one on their entire roster. The Dolphins, may not have won a playoff game since Dan Marino but the front office got off their collective asses and caved to the whining crying bitches that is the Miami Dolphin fanbase and had to do something rather than sit and watch the Jets. The NFL realized it was futile for the rest of the NFL to play this juggernaut. Roger Goodell was even in therapy with Darelle Revis helping him cope with their new acquisition. Maybe in 2011 the rest of the league can catch up and the NFL can have a season. Until the the rest of league catchs up to the juggernaut that is the Dolphins the Lombardi trophy will reside in Davie. I say this as the Dolphins new director of public relations!"
