I think my order would be:
    1. Lawrence (Drops to Jets or Jets trade up)
    2. Watson (Jets trade 3 1st Round picks)
    3. Darnold (Use all of the Cap and Draft picks to Build Around Sam)
    4. Wilson (Start fresh with a rookie QB)
    5. Stafford (Start a couple seasons, Draft a mid-round QB to groom for 2023)
    6. Fields
    7. Lance

    My choices:

    1. A vet placeholder for 2021 while we rebuild - trade Darnold. Trade down but stay in the top 5 and get a game changing player.
    2. Darnold while we rebuild. Trade down but stay in the top 5 and get a game changing player.
    3. Fields at 2.
    4. Watson for the #2 + 2nd rounder in 2022.

I know. My post was intended to be more than a little ironic.

Funny you don't mention his great game vs. Clemson, while hurt. Not going to debate this with you any further because it's pretty clear you haven't watched him that much and are cherry picking the bad moments without considering the good.

Also, saying he doesn't have upside is just laugh out loud wrong. He's 6'3 230 with a strong arm, super accurate, and runs a 4.5. He also throws very few interceptions. Can he go through his progressions at the NFL level? I don't know. But you sound like you have no idea what you're talking about when you say he doesn't have upside.

There are so many teams that need a QB that I definitely believe all 5 go in the first round

    I really like this.

More and more I feel the Jags might pick up the phone for #1. Urban Meyer is a conceded prick and he might sell himself on adding 2-3 quality picks plus Fields. Especially if he doubles down on how closely he has Lawrence and Fields as prospects.

Watson, Fields or Wilson, for me as long as it's no longer the worst ranked QB in the NFL anymore

I would be thrilled getting him with our second first rounder. I think there's good value in going opposite the general trend, which says that quarterbacks need to be dual threats. I'll take my chances with a tall, smart and accurate quarterback, who has great stats playing good defenses in college. Mac Jones also fits that desciption I guess, but Trask did it under much more pressure, because of a bad Florida defense and non-existing running game.

Problem is we just hired a staff that plans on running an offense where the QB has to make plays on the move. I would say Jones and Trask are completely off the Jets board unless they think there’s some sort of untapped athleticism there with one of them.

ya know... I just want a SIGNIFICANT move to be done to address the position..

I have posted b4 that I think Stafford is a good and reasonable option... just stumbled across this...

This is how QB rich this draft is. Trask is similar but a lot more accomplished than a guy like Rosen, who went #10 overall a few years ago. Less injury prone too. So, Trask is top 10 guy in 2018, and in this draft he is QB6, and may not even go 1st round (thought I think good chance he might). As far as us getting Trask, I don't think it is a good idea for us, because we can get QB2 in this draft. QB position is too important to play games.

You got Wilson, who is coming off historical year and has all the tools. You got strong armed Fields, a true dual threat QB, who is also accurate. These prospects are very rare. Sure, Trask may become better than both of them, but this is a game of probabilities. When it comes to getting FQB, we need to pick the guy who gives better FQB probability, even if there are good guys with smaller probabilities available, who can help get other assets.

I don't understand where you get this sort of stuff from.

When has Shanahan and friends ever had a quarterback that needs to make plays on the move?

They're always pocket passers. Maybe they do, but all indications are that they're absolutely fine having statues (Matt Ryan, Garroppolo, Goff, and even Rodgers).

Running a bootleg off play action, rolling out, etc. They don't have to be LAmar Jackson but a statue is not a great fit. Also Rodgers, Goff and Jimmy G are not statues.

yup the offense is predicated on getting rid of the ball quickly. an improvisor is more of an andry ried offense. mobility isn't important to this offense. a quick release and quick decisions are

"Mobility isn't important" seems wrong to me. Again when I said mobility I didn't mean a dual threat QB like Jackson or RG3. I meant being able to make throws on the move, effectively roll out, run bootlegs.
