    Darnold had success after he sat for a year.

    That’s not close to what the situation would be with drafting Moore. He sat for a year after starting for 4.5 years straight.

    You are correct, but It can be argued that if Darnold sits his first year (or half year), he has a much better career with the Jets and takes off earlier (might have to subtract Gase from the equation too).

    The problem with Moore is that he has never played in an NFL style offense or taken snaps under center. This guy is much more raw than Darnold, he's more on the level of Zack Wilson.

    Moore is the 2nd best QB in a pretty class. That doesn't mean he won't be good, it could benefit both him and the team to give him a chance to learn and observe a bit before going out there.

    Dante Moore already playing like a Jet. Was that the college version of the butt fumble.
