You're right. It is about what he has shown in practice and on the field when given a chance. We have not been privy to all that the coaches have seen. I have liked what I have seen. I think he is a football player plain and simple with talent and heart, and goes against the typical NFL science and formulas of size etc. Some NFL players do not fit the formula. Of course, he's no Leon and I haven't been privy to his practice etc.
Woodhead did a great job yesterday. He looks like he got better as the Pre-Season progressed. However, I'm still gonna go with the notion that he will not make the cut. He might stay on for 1 week, especially since Ellis is suspended, but I'd rather have Pitoitua(sp) on the squad or Cummings. We're gonna be missing Pace and Ellis, we need all those guys (DL & LB's) we can get. Besides even if Caulk doesn't make the team...Jones, Wash, Greene, and Richardson will be all this team needs (hoping that Greene stays healthy).
Bullshit. Read the posts. People are questioning his athleticism with no basis in reality. Just like calling a good black QB a running or athletic QB. Pay attention to what people are saying and read between the lines.
Let me guess, you're a slow white dude? The guy is 5'8" - 190 soaking wet. We already have a guy about his size who just happens to have a few extra pounds of muscle and some nifty skills to boot in front of him. His skill set adds nothing to this team.
We don't need Woodhead, we've already reached our white guy quota! Ainge Clemens Cummings Feeley B. Scott E. Smith
I think Sanchez is half white or something like that. We might have exceeded our quota by a fraction. We may have to cut Kenwin Cummings' legs off.
You got me there. But you're right about the skill set(s) of the guy(s) in front of him. I like him but signing him or not is not going to impact the team. Doing a better job of utilizing a bona fide game changer/impact player (Leon) will though. That is really the issue. DW is a nice story but his story is not going to affect L and W's however the story ends up. Leon and Sanchez and the defense are gonna be the keys and in honesty should be the story. I would love to see Sanchez be this year's Matt Ryan.
LMAO. That was too funny! I gotta hand it to you and Willie, you have me laughing and I haven't even had my first beer yet. That was really good.
If that's true, then you are a massively underpaid underachiever because someone with visually perceptive speed evaluation and talent assessment skills as unique and extraordinary as yours should be making millions of dollars a year in your easily justifiable role as the most gifted talent scout and player personnel talent evaluator in the entire world. Just think, if NFL GMs knew about your amazing ability to determine how good or fast an NFL prospect would be just by you looking at him play football (as opposed to their customary useless practice of wasting huge amounts of time and money with frivolous exercises such as the Combine and Pro Days) you'd be the richest talent evaluator in the Universe!! What the hell are you waiting for??? Your new career awaits!! Let me know if you need any references or recommendations.........
I consider Sanchez to be white. He doesn't even speak spanish, so ethnically he's white even if he isn't racially.
The Becks is calling my name... cold fresh joy, can't wait... another hour or so. I drank so much a few weeks ago, my liver hurt. First time that's happened to me, guess it's cause I'm almost 30.
