I hope Eli wins out... improve the Jets pick. 4 wins could put him 2 over us if we choke this week.

Daniel Jones out for season. It's the Eli Manning show the rest of the way.

Think he will go clutch and win out for no reason?

Second time he's done it? I think.

How many 5 TD games has Darnold had?

Against a bad defense, nothing to write home about. Context is everything

Sam rips Washington for 4 Tuddys - all the media outlets tell us to relax because its Washington
Jones rips Washington for 5 Tuddys - all the media outlets tell us he's back to being a 1st ballot HOFer

I know what I watch. Jones is still one read and the ball is out. He does not progress through his reads whatsoever. He turns the ball over at an alarming rate and Saquan had 100 of his 350 passing yards yesterday. Oh, and the fact that everyone says how bad the Giants OL is? They are ranked 21st in pass pro vs 30th for Darnold. Laughable excuse for Jones.

That's what I really wanted to hear. Between us and Giants it is really a pissing contest. They passed over Darnold we picked Darnold. Then they reached for Daniel Jones and they use every chance to praise Jones. I wanted to read an unbiased view about him.

He's a good quarterback when he can comfortably stand in the pocket throw the ball with no pressure

but.... we all know this is the NFL, and that will be rare

Not only do they use every chance possible to praise Jones, they use anything possible to justify Barkley over Sam. In 4 years when Barkley is doing postgame interviews, Sam will just be taking off in his prime at 26 years old. There is no justification whatsoever for taking a RB that early in the draft. The only reason it made sense for Dallas was because they were loaded going into that season and Romo was coming back off an injury and then broke his back in the preseason.

Not many QBs will be bad when they can stand comfortably in the pocket. Asking for that week in and week out is just an absurd request. Sam has played well the previous 6/7 weeks and his pocket has been horrible all year. That is the exact reason why I'm confident that with a slight improvement in the OL, we will see that big time jump that we wanted this season with 14. I posted earlier, per football outsiders the Jets are 30th in pass protection, 2nd in sacks allowed, and 2nd in adjusted sack rate. If the OL can get anywhere to 16-20 next season, who knows how big of a jump he can actually make. IMO, Sam's floor is what we are looking at right now.

I want 16 games out of Sam Darnold. Not 12 good games with some strange injury/illness. Not even 16 with a destructive midseason "seeing ghosts" type swoon where he needs a reset.

I just want 16 games at the level he has been playing at, solid. Then I will declare him a good NFL quarterback

I think the Giants offensive line problems are a little overblown too. They look a lot worse because Jones holds on to the ball forever trying to figure out where to throw it.

It's by no means good but they're dead center in the NFL at 16th in sacks allowed. It also looks a lot worse because of his fumble issues.

Passing the ball, he looks a lot better than I imagined. His arm strength in college reminded me a lot of Trubisky. Can technically make all the throws, but really doesn't have zip to make tight window throws to the sidelines and over the middle.

He's proved me somewhat wrong on that front.

I am biased when it comes to Darnold ve Jones. Now that you have seen both in action, which QB you rather have?

Give me Darnold with Daniel Jones weapons. Giants got some talented guys on the outside.

    - Tate
    - Shepard
    - Slayton (Emerging rookie star)
    - Evan Engram

Also helps that the NFC East has some shitty secondaries.

    Turnovers turnovers turnovers.

Giants might be in the #TankForTrevor sweepstakes.
