Love the guy and happy for him about the contract he got... but I'm also happy we didn't pay him that much! IMO he was probably worth 7 Mln/yr or something like that...

All in all I have to agree with the FO in not over-paying Snacks or Ivory.

I see rival fans (and Jets fans) complain they paid too much for Revis. And it is true they did, but he is still one of, if not THE BEST, CB's in the NFL. A position hard to find quality players. Not saying Snacks or Ivory are not good, but they are not positions you should overpay for.

Time to lock down Fitzy or find a long-term deal for Mo Wilk (or restructure D'Brick). I don't care about any other free agents, especially after the Forte news.

 

I don't think a deal will get done with Fitzy until it becomes clear that no other team has interest and he has to take what the Jets offer.

I still want the Jets to sign a FA TE either Allen or Fleener and a 2nd tier RT or RG would be nice too.

I think RG3 is setting up a visit for both San Fran and Denver with Denver up first. Both RG3 and Kaep appear to be intertwined. Fitz isn't going to get the money he wants. Nor should he.

Yeah thats what's encouraging, Fitz seems to be on no one's radar right now. He should just take what the Jets give him.Give incentives like making the playoffs and call it a day. Fitz is good, but one good season for an older QB is not going to cause teams to break the bank for you.
