We still have Skrine, so its not like Milliner has to really do anything at this point. I expect him to be let go when it makes financial sense for us to do so. I guess in the meantime we could hope we catch lightning in a bottle and he becomes good...
Getting of Milliner makes zero sense unless the right trade can be had. To cut him we would eat his 4mil+ cap hit this year. Trading him and we still pay 1.8M. Granted he has played way under draft status but a contract is a contract and unless he is the worst player on the team he has to be kept. Pace is a free agent and can be had for about 2 mil. I'd see what he has left in the tank & how he competes in camp. Easy to pick on the old guy but he is solid against the run and played a lot of downs for us last year.
I love Snacks but it may be a luxury we can't afford. Mo will get the franchise tag for sure now that he's hurt. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
hate that he'll be playing for the Giants. can no longer root for him. on a side note, Giants are massively overpaying for guys.
If true that screws us in 2 ways. It means we lose Snacks and now the market for his replacement just got much more expensive.
it's relatively easy to play NT with the crop of DEs we have. we don't need to invest heavily there. we'll be just fine.
Makes sense for Snacks. He doesn't have to leave the area or stadium (just play for an inferior team) and he got PAID. Way overpaid. The Giants are trash and will stink next year too.
Desperation by Reece to save his tail. It wont work. The Reece McAdoodoo era will go down in flames for the Giants
@KimJonesSports NYG now have deal w/Damon Harrison, as Jordan predicted. RT @JordanRaanan: #Giants are on verge of landing former #Jets DT Harrison
@JasonLaCanfora It's a big boy contract for ex-jets DT Damon Harrison and the Giants. $24M guaranteed/$9M per year. Giants aren't messing around
Alright, I am less upset now. Way too much. Jets have to consider the superior players (Mo and Sheldon) when thinking about handing out big money.
