Interested in the Lions' former TE Fauria. Spoke to a couple Lion fans and they described him as average overall but capable of making catches in the red zone. That would be an upgrade to Jets TE depth.

Fauria works would like that and drop Davis. Also Lb Rolando McClain was released from Giants could be a good pickup

    worst move was cutting Owusu.
cutting Mays, Babin, and Johnson doesn't make too much sense to me either.....especially to keep guys like Dozier, Bohanon, Bowen, 7CB's, Henderson, Simon, etc... although we need a TE so someone else will be cut..

Glad we didn't keep 4 QB's tho. that would've been pointless.

I wouldn't mind looking at former Atlanta & KC TE Tony Moeaki, Oak Blocking TE Brian Leonhardt, Det TE Joseph Fauria & TE Rosario if he does actually get cut as rumored

Like many have stated we need to sign back WR Owasu, Return man W.Powell & a backup Center I don't care if its W. Johnson or not

I think we would be fine with out Bohanon, K.Davis, Dozier, McDougle and even Bowen

The lions cut Jeremy Ross. He could be our return guy.

I didn't know Moeaki was cut. He looked promising before injuries happened.

I'm shocked Jonas Gray was cut too.

I really wanted us to keep Owusu, but the concussion history is scary as Hell.

Oh no, we might not have Matt Flynn/Josh Johnson on our roster! Seriously people?

We aren't done making moves. Relax people.

Cassell is horrible....dont believe the media hype about him being a quality QB. Hes been in the league about a decade.....and has 33 wins....20 of which came in two seasons (NE and KC) that means 13 wins over about 8 seasons......he was cut because he's just not any good and the other QBs out performed him in camp. Glad Rex's coaching will impede their progression because they have some players.

I don't understand that move at all, unless doctors told the Jets that Owusu is one concussion away from having to retire. It's early, and I'll see what moves are made, but right now, I don't like the moves cutting Mays and Owusu.

Ik was cut by Buffalo. Maybe we could get him back. Might be useful if Petty gets too big for his breeches.

So if the Seahawks DO get rid of Chancellor, how quickly will they lose the "LOB" title, LOB only existed because of Browner and Chancellor, one is now two years removed and the other is holding out and may be traded. Sherman/Lane/ ...whoever are NOT the big hitters that got their nick name.

Why in the world would Seattle want to trade Kam Chancellor? They're insane if they do that.

It depends. Chancellor is a great box safety but those aren't that hard to find. If they think they have somebody to take over for him, a bigger guy who can hit and who knows the defense, they'll probably be fine. And Chancellor is not going to function in any defense. He needs good corners and a centerfielder next to him so he can focus on keeping the play in front of him and hit people, and not worry about giving up bigplays. Overall the Seahawks make no sense. Their O-Line is a mess, they let all their good linemen walk and Russell looked like crap in the preseason. Now they're doing the same on defense. They're like 1-2 bad moves from becoming irrelevant.
