Id say do it. We need to fill alot of holes as people say mostly on O-line though. The defense is looking good. Wide Receivers can get better but there is no receiver out there worth a #4 pick. There is alot of O-Linemen and good RB's this draft where we can pick some up later? So the real question shouldn't be draft Cutler? But instead why not? He is a risk but thats with anyone coming out of college its gonna be the same if we hope for Quinn next year so I say go for it.

i am a jay cutler guy. i love the guy, he is a perfect mix of young and leinart. But with the acquisition of ramsey, i'm not so sure any more. I think that maybe going aj hawk or super mario in the first round would be much better. However i wouldn't kill myself if we drafted cutler...that would show that we have our depth chart as

    Penny
    Cutler
    Ramsey
    Bollinger.

That would give us good depth at the position. But I think building a strong defense is the way to go now in the first and oline in the later first day rounds.

Norm Chow was on a radio sports talk show in Tennessee, and a friend of mine told me he was absolutely giddy about Cutler after his pro day. So is the Titan's GM. I think they will take Cutler, even if Leinart is still on the board.

I think we are going to be starring at Vice Young. If we pass and he pans out, it will be like taking Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan.

Excellent point in a nutshell. And I'm really impressed with this Cutler write-up from yesterday. 44-45 passes is nothing short of incredible. My worry now is that Cutler is gone at #4. Either way, I say we hold onto (and use) #4, this is going to get very interesting. We're in a win-win situation.

Now, I think the Titans have zeroed in on Cutler. I look for a draft day trade of Volek, once they get Cutler. The Raiders, maybe Minny. Volek has some value.

As far as Ramsey goes, I don't think he is anything more than Bollinger's replacement. If N.O. goes Leinart, we're screwed. Croyle, anyone?

IF we were to draft cutler than i see our depth chart as

    Ramsey
    Penny
    Cutler
    Bollinger

    Then in 2007
    Cutler
    Ramsey
    Bollinger

    bump.

The Jets could have traded for Ramsey to be the bridge player, than have Cutler be the future.

Just an opinion, not saying thats what i want to happen.

Ramsey will be a FA next year, unless we re-sign him
