do a sign and trade... Trade abe and and our 4th overall for the second overall. Matt leinhart is going to be the best out of these three QB's IMO

i tihnk dbrick is the best option for the jets, if he lives up to what they say, (Ogden,Pace) he would be HUGE for our team. We would have one of the best tackles and the best center. Our running game would be back. o more 35 carry games for 82 yards

yea if your a playoff contender and ur needs are limited. we need an entire offense u cant build ur around OT. i rather take the qb this year . that way he sit this year and should be ready by next year. instead wasting another year looking for a qb. we have not had a strong arm qb in years.

    The o-line

Rebuilding our offensive line needs to be our first priority, because I don't care who you put under center if noone will block for him...we need 2 first round picks...but our first needs to be a lineman

Brooks Bollinger is nothing more than a clipboard holder at best.Never in anyones wildest dreams would he be a starting qb in the NFL.Anyone who feels he is certainly has little or no football experience at all.Aaron Brooks is so much more the complete package of a qb than Bollinger will ever be.Brooks played without his only reciever for themost of the year and with no backfield. The Saints coaching staff said here you go Brooks its your ball do what you could.

but the saints already have Will Smith, it ihnk the Texans would be more inclined to do this trade since they could use some DEF help. I tihnk this would be awesome if you were the texans. They get John Abraham, a proven star. They get DBrickishaw Furgeson to protect Carrs Blindside (where theres been trouble). The keep Carr and Domanick Davis.

I tinhk it would benefit both teams greatly, hmmmmm, something to think about

Dbrick is not on the level of those guys comig out. hell his college career wasnt even on level of McKinnie and Williams from a few years ago. the raiders took this same route a few years ago. they draft gallery over the qb and you see were there at oline still sucks and qb position even worse. and gallery was thought by everybody as sure thing 10 yr pro bowler

I think Cutler has bust written all over him. I think we have three options try and trade up to get Young or Leinhart, stay where we are and take bpa, trade down for one of the running backs DeAngelo or Lendale.

its easier to build ur oline through FA and later picks than its is to get a potential franchise qb. those never shake free from the the teams that draft them.

yea but gallery is still pretty good, i would love to have him. He cant protect his qb if its kerry collins, he cant throw. But look at what gallery has done for the running game, he opened it up for Lamont

yea, if your looking to build depth only though

if you want to draft a lineman you want to start, you need to stay in the first round, maybe 2nd

you cant expect to start a 2nd day drafted lineman. And btw, oline might be one of the hardest positions to find starters in through FA

whos availible this year, Bently, backus and Hutchinson?

yes, we have curtis, his superior, i tihnk sometimes peopleover look him. Remeber last seaosn was his first seaosn w/o 1000 yds rushing so in other words, it was his worse season ever. If he wants to retire soon hes gonna wanna do it on top. That means hard work and better blocking.

thats 2 elite lineman in bentley and hutchinson and a solid OT in backus. like i said its easier to get olineman through FA than it is a potential franchise QB.

yea, but i think they could have ran a bit more, i tihnk they were forcing to ball to moss towards the end of the season. And when lamont was on, he was on, i watched him light a few teams up. And since the riaders dont have too many good lineman, he has to shed a few guys at the Line Of Scrimmage. BTW, im going out so i wont be posting in here for a few hours, leave me some good stuff to come back to

inkow, im saying there are 3 MAJOR lineman worthy of starting, thats it. And hutchinson is going to be franchised. So thats 2, if backus isnt franchised also. Now were ptentialy down to one.

You expect half the league to go after 3 people and the jets to win? i dont think so

I'm so sick of the credence these draft sites are given. The reason Jay Cutler flew up the draft charts was because the draftnicks saw how much attention the NFL teams were paying Cutler at the Senior Bowl. Meaning they were initially wrong about how much interest NFL teams had in Cutler.

This is not the case of a workout warrior, IMO, and since the Combine hasn't even happened yet I'd bet at least 2 of the current Top 5 predicted picks are completely different. And the guys that take their place will be the real workout warriors.

I don't see your side at all.... because your info on Cutler is all wrong. Cutler CAN throw on the run, and can make plays when flushed from the pocket.... he actually played some wishbone ant Vandy in his freshman year.... the guy can make plays with his feet. In fact, he only went to Vanderbuilt because they would let him come in as a QB.... other schools wanted him to play safety. He's 6'3" (Ive' seen him listed at 6'4") and throws overhanded. He may be able to pass over linemen with no passing lane with that kind of size and throwing motion. What gave you this impression? It sounds more like Whitehurst you're tralking about.

Someone tell me, if Aaron Brooks was any good, why is N.O. dumping him for Leinart? He's much too inconsistant.
