Bingo!! When you're starting Tackle for 2 years at Penn State, you think you would play better against traning camp fodder.
Kroul needs a full season, and then summer, learning. Having him as a backup could be a disaster. Hopefully Zane Taylor makes the practice squad...there could be some potential there as a Rob Turner lite in the future.
Seeing the problems with OL depth this year makes you appreciate who truly lucky we were last year having Turner and Hunter.
Reading opinions about Maybin it sounds as if some guys thinks he makes were as other things he is gone. My question is who has looked better Maybin or Westerman? Cause it sounds like Westerman hasnt done shit so far...
Agree, problem is one one is starting and the other is probably done for the season. Tanny has to address the O-line depth in the next few days. A solid backup will be cut from some team.
I haven't noticed Westerman do anything except fail to pick up a fumble in game 2. That being said, I believe that he's an asset on ST.

I'm fine with all...good riddance. Maybe Campbell can sign to the PS, he has the best upside of the four.
Anybody keeping track of the numbers. I think we were at 78 before yesterday's game. Wth these cuts (mentioned in this thread): Landolt LaRocque McCaskill Campbell Clifford Taylor Jennings that should bring us to 71. Is that right?
DePalma might be a good PS candidate. Solid return man and looked like he had pretty decent hands. He wasn't good enough for the 53 but definitely showed some signs.
