agree with most of the decisions, and nothing really shocked me. 2 decisions did surprise me though. 1) keeping Bush over Miles. i thought Miles really stood out on ST, and had been developing nicely as a S. Bush didn't show much this preseason. i think it comes down Bush fitting better as a FS, where we have several guys who can play in the box like Miles. hopefully Miles clears waivers. 2) keeping Reilly over McIntire. thought McIntire had a real strong preseason, and is a versatile backup who can contribute in spot duty. looked more jacked then i've ever seen him, can play against the run (Babin cannot), and was getting after the QB nicely. Reilly looked terrible to me at OLB. was getting swallowed up against the Eagles, wasn't setting the edge. only thing i can think of is Reilly's potential roles on ST. He was starting with most groups by the end of preseason, and was in on some ST tackles. Troy Davis stood out more on ST tho, and he was cut. i would've put Reilly on the PS and have kept McIntire. didn't like that move and think they are trying to protect drafted players too much.

This is the best place Simms could have wound up at this point. He'll get reps with the scout team and will be able to show his stuff on a regular basis.

With the PS going from 8 to 10 I could see them possibly putting both Qvale and Campbell on the squad but then again they may already be done with Campbell experiment.

Outside of Dixon the Jets have been pretty fortunate with the PS falling into place as it has. I really like getting Finau, Simms, Miles and Richardson on there. These are all guys who can make the roster next year.
We lost him? Fuck. I liked his potential a lot. I wonder how come I can't find the news for that anywhere.
