Im curious as to what this conditional pick is....

Im guessing a 6th that should turn into a 5th with chance of a 4th or something if he gets a redic amount of picks/makes probowl

My mistake, thought I saw C/G.

Just looked him up...this is curious as he is a rookie drafted in 6th round by GB.

Lowrey the obvious surprise. I wonder what they have planned, I thought he was doing pretty good at safety.

I'm sure Tanny has another option for depth at Safety.

So what kind of "conditional pick" do you trade for a backup safety or guard? There are only 7 rounds.

Since he was just drafted out of the 6th round, you have to assume its a 6th or 7th.

You're more than likely getting a kid who you'll cut in the 5th-7th rounds after a year anyways. So a back-up makes more sense that taking a random shot in the wind. Sure you could strike gold, but the way the team is built now you'd rather have a sure thing.

Maybe if they wanted to keep him, they didn't.

Packers fans are wondering how the Packers could even trade Schlauderaff given that they had heard that he was released. Obviously a case of the news getting out before it was official.

I really question the Lowery move... unless we got like a 4th or 5th rd pick... I really liked Lowery and thought he was the best ball-hawk out of our safeties... I'm a little pissed atm.

I still wonder why you would trade for a backup, there were plenty released today. Maybe they think he can start.

I agree, but I don't see the reason why Tanny would cut Lowery and keep Cook unless he was getting a 5th. It could also be a cap saving measure as Tanny has publicly stated that he puts all the money into the star players and spends peanuts on the rest of the players.
